Come early or order online in advance. The bread and pastries tend to se out quickly. Usually, the cookies are moist and delicious. This time they were very dry. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls (croissant dough), the almond croissants and rye cookie. They offer a variety of sourdough breads as well and have seating. There is a coffee shop (called Lucid) in store that is very good they do have differing hours. There is a bathroom and plenty of parking.

Pastries sold out 2 hours after open. Got the last croissant; excellent. Kids wanted lemon cookie; surprisingly excellent flavor and texture. They just moved location to the Hallmark store in same plaza. Take out only.

Nice place, Jackie and Hayley treated me super well. The French butter cookies are to die for. And that is all they had left today and they were gracious enough to take care of me as though I was ordering dozens and dozens and dozens of goodies. Will be back.

Had an awesome experience... Pastries were really good yet the bit rich/oily. I tried Danish and a chocolate croissant...My only warning to my brothers and sisters who suffer from reflex be careful of the pretzel cheese croissant lol. Each averaged about $5.75. I had to take my acid reduction pill due to its richness but totally worth it haha. Definitely going to go back again. Next time I plan on trying their shop made fresh breads.

Every time I've gone the bread has been excellent and the pastries are out of this world! I am addicted to the strawberry pistachio danish! And now with the addition of Lucid coffee roasters it is my destination for a weekly treat and a delicious sourdough loaf! Five stars all the way!

Amazing bread, items used to be sold out by the time I could make it (noonish) but recently they’ve had most things in stock. Every time I go to a restaurant or shop and think wow this bread /pastry is remarkable, it ends up being from Village Bread. Very kid friendly, excellent service, very reasonable prices, and delicious carbohydrates. The service window is especially convenient. I highly recommend the sourdough, baguette, and Croissant. First visit. Bought a chocolate croissant. It was fabulous! Almost as good as the chocolate croissants in France. Bought a Coco Chocolate cookie for $2. It was fabulous! I liked it better than the $4 gourmet cookies available in Redlands.
Bought a loaf of potato bread. My wife used it to make a grilled cheese sandwich. It was fabulous!
I am tempted to move to Calimesa just to be near the Village Bakery.
