Excellent experience with script ER. I was struggling with my first script , I had a terrible experience before, I was totally discouraged , not because the previous teacher was bad but because he had a different approach. I wanted to write my own script, with my own vision and own story.Then during a convention in LA I met students from script ER. I joined the group. Patrick from script ER not only helped me write the whole script but taught me the does and don'ts in a script , the reality of the industry, the way to turn sentences to make them more dramatic etc... besides he doesn't put pressure on you and motivates you to FINISH the script in the right format. As a non native English speaker, Patrick has been really helpful. I ended up writing four scripts with him. and I can't way to pursue the adventure with script ER. Thanks again.

I was lucky enough to have my life cross paths with Patrick, years ago! He helped me hammer through my first script and has never given up on me while we work on my full length feature.
He is the light at the end of my sometimes, very dark tunnel the "wind beneath my wings" HA!

I was so satisfied with my feedback and my one-on-one session that I submitted several more scripts. All the feedback was insightful and elevated my scripts considerably. Wow, I wish I had called sooner! I had tried a group class before, but all the students had different projects and levels of ability there. At Script E.R I spoke to Patrick on the phone about my situation and inspiration for a show. He spent time getting to know me for free then customized a program for me where I did 3 classes learning how to correctly format a script with him, then we moved on to some classes breaking down my script idea. He has a simple, classic very intuitive sequencing method, which works on any script. I am so so happy with the completed draft of my TV pilot - I really could not have done this alone. We worked during COVID, sometimes on zoom and sometimes after lockdown in the offices. The team could not have been nicer, and the fact that every person HAS to be a full Writers Guild of America writer means that they are all true professionals who know what they are talking about. Highly recommended!
