I'm perplexed. I thought I was buying my olive oil that was purely from Ca. And now I notice that there are oils from other countries in it. It appears that where I live, the markets are getting blended olive oil from Portugal, Chile and Argentina. What's up with that? I have since found that they still sell Ca. Olive oil. I guess everyone is only interested in making money these days;

Until this year I was able to purchase unfiltered oil in 2.5 gallon bulk bag in a box. Not any more. Now I am encouraged by this company to buy my gallons in glass containers and have them shipped across to Colorado and then recycle the very heavy, thick glass used for the oil. As one who subscribes to the concept of sustainable living, this is not what I am on board with. This company has an amazing high quality oil, but is not worth the extra cost to ship and store the five gallons that I will use again this year. Please support other companies which support sustainable principles of getting us our foods. This company in my opinion no longer does this.

I read an article about the California Olive Ranch in the Los Angeles Times today and purchased the 100 percent California blend Extra Virgine . Great Taste... I guess I won't by olive oil from Italy or Greece anymore and buy local.

I just stir fried/sauteed some zucchini, onion, grape tomatoes and mini green peppers (only fresh veggies I had) in some Miller's Blend and served over "Seeds of Change" quinoa & brown rice with garlic. No other seasoning needed! Such a wonderful blend of flavors. That was my dinner but I could imagine this served with a fine cut of prime rib or salmon, and some fresh melon. Excellent oil!

Don't buy the chef size in the soft plastic bottle--when I grasped the bottle to pour some out, the bottle flexed and spewed out some delicious oil all over the countertop. Good oil, terrible bottle.
