Alex was incredible, funny, knowledgeable and generous. Their wines were unique and complex and the location was stunning. Alex knew so much about the region and the vines and shared so very special bottles with us. We felt deeply grateful for the hospitality.

We had an amazing tasting at Square Peg with Alex. This is a TRUE small family operation and their wines show it. Everything we tasted was excellent and everyone in our party of five made a purchase.
Alex's mother's artwork on the wall paired with her sculptures and the windows overlooking the vines just added to the experience. The grounds surrounding the tasting room are beautiful with well kept gardens and special bonus -- a grove of redwoods!
We loved this winery and will revisit if we find ourselves in Sonoma again.

We so enjoyed our tasting with Alex! Loved hearing about the origins of the vineyard and the grounds are stunning. Not to mention every wine we tasted was absolutely delicious. We will be back on our next trip!

Brad is a really fantastic host. Super knowledge and very down to earth. And, their wines are really great. The sparkling rose, estate Pinot noir, and estate Zin were really special. Getting a hands on tour of the vines gives great perspective to the process. Really great artwork in the tasting room is a bonus.

If you're looking for a low key but thoroughly enjoyable tasting experience, this is it!

Wonderful experience. This place is charming and has excellent wine. We did not hesitate to sign up for the the wine club. Loved spending time with the owner and hearing the history of this vineyard. 100% would recommend.

We were in the area and decided to plan for a stop here. Plan ahead as they are by appointment only. I got on the waiting list and they reached out via text and were able to accommodate. The wine tasting is $35 and one charge gets waived for every 2 bottles purchased. Alex was fun to chat with as he took us through the tasting. Definitely the antithesis (in a great way) of the big winery experiences we had during our stay in Napa earlier in the week. We especially loved the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Unquestionably worth checking out if you’re going to be in the area!

I never write review, but this winery was spectacular! The owner, who gave the tasting, was so kind and friendly. He started off by offering to share about the winery’s history and the science behind it their wines. During the tasting he was easy to talk to and pretty funny. Plus, the wines were delicious. I went with my sister and we both highly recommend scheduling a tasting. The tasting room is also beautiful, with stunning artwork. You will not regret it!

From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by Brad, who not only shared his extensive knowledge of the vineyard but also notes about his wife's captivating art displayed throughout the tasting room. The selection of wines was outstanding, we especially loved the Chardonnay and took home two bottles (but in reality I wanted them all). What's more, Brad surprised us with a fun off-the-menu can of sparkling rose that capped off our afternoon perfectly. The atmosphere was warm yet elegant, and the attention to detail made every moment memorable. We wine taste in Sonoma often and our experience at Square Peg was one of the best we’ve had. Thank you again Brad for your hospitality!
