This is a belated thank-you note. I’ve been studying at Chino Valley Adult School since Level 3. Before I entered, I couldn’t even make a full sentence. But now I can talk freely about daily life.

Thank you to Chino Valley Adult School for empowering my English skills, and thank you to my teacher Peggy — she is one of the best teachers there. She has many years of professional English teaching experience. She always takes care of each student’s feelings and often shares local culture and social customs, which makes it easier for students to understand and use English in different contexts.

Peggy Thompson, my Level 3 teacher, is truly an amazing teacher. Her classes are always fun and engaging, and I can honestly say she is the best English teacher I’ve ever had. She explains the lessons using simple words and even body language, which makes it much easier for me to understand the material. She has such a deep knowledge of English, and I’m so impressed that she remembers the names of all 40+ students in our class, including new students who just arrived. I feel very lucky to be in her class, and I’m confident that with her guidance I will continue to improve my English.

teachers are patient and really love to teach, such a rarity the adult program here is supurb. I Just go in and work and put in the effort and I've made great progress here , and I could say that it is because of the teachers here. mr Christianson , Charles, Kimberly and mr. Thompson are all great people and teachers love em GOD BLESS these teachers.

I was there for the xovid test and treat. The wait was great since I was able to mKe appmt. You go up the window next to the bus and they give you the swab to do for your nostril. After an hour they text you the result. Very efficient. The only thing was the address provided took me to the wrong area of the adult school and I didn't know I was looking for a bus in the parking lot. It could of saved me 45 min if this info was disclosed to me.

High School Diploma and GED Program Review.

PROS: Classes are free, the class is in a computer lab, and you are free to come and go as you please.

CONS: High school and GED classes are terrible (room 12,13). Cindy, the high school and GED class teacher is extremely incompetent. She talks too much during class about her personal life with other students and this is very distracting when you're trying to do your class work. I'm all for exercising your first amendment right but, her political views should be kept to herself as well. And third she allows people that aren't students into the class room, making it a security issue for everyone. My best advise to those trying to get into the high school diploma or GED program, you're better off somewhere else. Cindy is very unprofessional and at times she seems to discriminate against hispanic people that are in the early stages of learning English.
