I went with my family and had a lovely afternoon. The lady that took our group on the guided house tour was very knowledgeable and engaging. I'll be going back again in the future and also visiting the other two properties that are part of the southern trilogy tour. The great thing with the trilogy tour tickets that include the 3 properties, is that they don't expire. So you can take your time with when you want to see them and not feel rushed to visit all 3 on the same day.

Great ancestral home of Theodore Roosevelt's mothers family, Mittie Bulloch. Mittie was Theodore's mother and Elanore's grandmother. She and Theodore's father were married in the home, then moved to New York. Much to learn. Present Roosevelt visited the home in 1905 and there is some very cool momento's from his visit. They do a good job of representing the important role of African American slaves who lived here and built the home as well. Great place for a history nerd like myself to spend an hour or 2.

Nicely restored house of Mitte and Roosevelt. Lots of history but the furniture and things are not original. It has a lot of history displayed. Mat was very informative and hospitable for our family tour.

Lots of history, gorgeous scenery, memorable times. Went during the German Christkindlmarket and it was scenic, great music and atmosphere. Not to mention the foods! Highly recommended.

Loved this house! It has family connections via great-aunt and great-uncle. Has also been updated since being built in 1839. Martha "Mittie" Bulloch was married in the dining room of this house to Theodore Roosevelt Sr. in December 1853. Worth the visit!

We had a fun time walking around Bulloch Hall. The grounds are very nice and the house is in great shape for being over 170 years old.
