Went here yesterday and have to say that this place is beautiful. Family setting clean and almost home like. There garden is lush and green the bathrooms are open and they have a piano that this woman started to play on her break from ups. So my moment there was wonderful. I hope to see it blossom years to come. Also there hiring. So it would be to me a fun place to work.

And much-needed addition this Oakland Community and I salute all those involved in the effort to make West Oakland Farm Park a reality. This park and it's facilities are clean and the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. They also have a great little kids park and do not hesitate to bring my own kids there despite what some might perceive as it being in a dangerous neighborhood. It's not and I take me and my family here just as quick as I would anywhere else.

This garden and park is absolutely amazing and a total inspiration! They are very involved in them community, do movie nights, workshops, have a farm stand (Sat's at 10am), host parties (with/without alcohol), and the list goes on! Come check it out, you will be impressed!!! 😀

Easily one of the nicest parks in the area, especially if you have children. Between the new playground and the local farm (buy produce while the kiddos are enjoying themselves), this will be a frequent destination for my family for a long time.
