Probably one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've had in the bay area. Super juicy and flavorful, and even their low spice options had tons of flavor. The mac and cheese was also great, loved the cherry peppers in them.

Alright fried chicken fans, just a heads up, this style of fried chicken isn't for everyone, but for what they do produce, they do it well.

It's kind of hard to describe, but the coating on the chicken leans sweet and crumbles rather than flakes like the traditional breading style found at places like Popeyes. This gives the chicken a very crispy texture that holds oil much more prominently than the alternative. It's almost like a crunchy English butter cookie kind of texture which is certainly very unique for a fried chicken batter.

The chicken itself was very juicy and tender. I ordered both some tenders and the chicken sandwich and they were made of breast meat and a thigh respectively.

I personally favor the more traditional savory style of breading so I dropped a star but for those that do enjoy this approach, it seemed well prepared and flavorful. @ $5 / tender, the price feels a bit steep but the portions are fairly large so it's not too bad.

Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Served up delicious chicken fingers and slaw with the mildest sauce (but if you're into 🔥 🥵 they have you covered!). Fast service from the same spot you order with outside seating. It was cold, and I had a warm jacket, but I wish I'd grabbed my portable cushion from the car because the metal set's coldness still got through. I was able to eat at their tables outside without being bothered by passerby or traffic.

The chicken sandwich and crinkle cut fries were delicious! I got the mild plus which had some heat but I like heat so I'll probably go hot next time. I love that they use thighs and not just breasts. So much more flavor. The crinkle cut fries were nice and crispy and great flavor.

Ordered food for my daughter who does not like spicy at all, specified not spicy for the chicken but not the fries. When I saw seasoning on the fries I asked if it was spicy, and was told that it was a little bit spicy. They didn't have to but the staff said they would remake the fries without the seasoning. I really appreciated the customer service. Thank you guys, and I will be on the lookout for your food and the money sauce cause it was straight up MONEY!

I know I was hungry, buuut damn! I love a good chicken sandwich and a good Mac. Got the tender sandwich, mild, because pregnant me is working on building baby’s tolerance for some good spice life. So flavorful! Crispy and moist at the same time. A yummy peppery Mac with their house made sauce. And some seasoned fries for the side crunch. Not a mayo girlie so I didn’t get the pickle slaw, but I bet it’s delicious. I mean if you’re going to call yourself world famous, I’m okay with that. 😅😋🤤no photos because I dug right in.
