I ate here while they were offering $6 paninis. I got the green chile chicken panini and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The panini was really good, definitely worth the discounted price, though I’m not sure it’d be worth it at full price with so many other options nearby (Porto’s to name one). The soup was how I like broccoli cheddar soup. The flavor was good and it had a great consistency for this type of soup. I went back the next day and switched to the loaded baked potato soup. This was slightly less impressive. Decent flavor but too watery. I also got a caramel cinnamon nut roll, which was the biggest let down. It seemed over baked. It was hard, dry, and had very little caramel.

Normally I give this Corner Bakery location a 4-5 star rating on their food. This time I gave the food a 3 star rating for this visit. My visit on Sunday 9/22/2024, the Chicken Pesto Sandwich, which I’ve ordered many, many times, was not as good as my past visits when I ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. This time my sandwich was dry. There was very little Pesto Aioli and House Vinaigrette on my sandwich. I normally ask for extra Pesto Aioli and House Vinaigrette on the side just in case, but this time I didn’t. Other than the sandwich being dry in my opinion, I still recommend this location and will be going back in the future. This is not regular occurrence.

Great sandwiches (didn't try the pasta but I'm picky about that) and I had the Uptown Turkey Avocado which also includes bacon! The sandwich comes with mayo so I added the stone ground mustard for a little extra flavor. Comes with Kettle chip which were great and I had an oatmeal cookie extra.
Sandwich was great and no complaints. They put the exactly correct amount of Mustard/Mayonnaise so ask for extra if you like that (I do not)
I got everything to go and it was all ready in 10 min with no crowd. It was very nicely pack and they gave me napkins:-)
Service was excellent and helpful.

Zero Star — Avoid Eddie at Northridge Corner Bakery at All Costs

Had a terrible experience at the Corner Bakery in Northridge because of one employee: Eddie. He was working as the server/cashier and had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever encountered in customer service. He was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. When I asked a simple question about the menu, he rolled his eyes like I was bothering him. I saw him do the same to other customers, too — clearly not a one-time thing.

Eddie acts like he’s doing you a favor by taking your order. No smile, no basic courtesy, just straight-up attitude. If management cares at all about their customers or reputation, they need to seriously address this behavior. Until then, I’ll take my business elsewhere — and I suggest others do the same.

I came for lunch at this location after a few months, sadly their customer service has gone downhill. The carpet is visible dirty with big pieces of some dry food under the tables and looks gross, the dirty dishes are not picked up from the tables in a timely manner and when someone from the stuff finally does it, the tables are emptied but not cleaned. There are no napkins anywhere and no one is at the counter to ask for them. Free refills? Yes, but there is no creamer and if the coffee runs out you’ll have to wait a good 15 minutes for it. Maybe they are understaffed, or maybe the staff is treating the place as their own personal business and not giving the paying customers the attention they deserve. The food was okay, but we decided not to come back, there are plenty of places where you can get god food and good service for the same price.

January 2024, it’s been a minute but wanted to update. Almost always order online for home delivery from Northridge location. I just want to share that the food is outstanding & consistently fresh overall considering how much we have ordered over the last 3 years. There have been a couple occasions in which I felt the chicken in the pasta & salad were not the freshest, but lately it’s been on point & the portions are more than reasonable. Today picked up the vegetarian caprese sandwich, outstandingly delicious & a side salad also fresh & delish. Also ordered carbanara pasta w/ blue cheese. Delicious but this time a bit too much blue cheese. Great fresh food & food always arrives warm. Including some pics from this order. Thanks to the cooks, even when I go in for pick up they’re busy & doing it right.

Pick up online lunch order yesterday oct. 25th 2021. Husband & I moved to the area a year or so ago & it’s our first experience at the Northridge location. We both ordered the two lunch combo. Overall a good experience and are going back to do lunch again today. Food was fresh to order & was still warm when we got home. Also note was a very short wait food was ready quick.
My husband did the tomato basil soup with a half sandwich. He described the soup as delicious a little spicy and the sandwich tasty but a little bit small. I’m not sure what side he ordered, but overall he was satisfied.
I ordered the chicken noodle soup & pesto cavatappi pasta w/ grilled chicken & a side of garlic bread. Overall I was happy with the meal. Thought it was a good solid portion and made a great warm lunch on a cool fall day.
My reason for 4 stars is the lack of chicken in the pasta it was almost nonexistent and absolutely does not look like the menu picture with slices of chicken. Not where’s the beef? ,but baby where’s the chicken? Also could have had more pesto flavor it basically is just a creamy pasta, not bad still yummy but not to expectation based of menu description & picture. Soup is delicious & satisfying, my side of garlic bread was also sadly flat not crispy and lacking garlic flavor but still good & not stale.
Overall All very fresh food and not too pricey. I think we’d spend the same or more at any fast food drive through but here you get fresher healthier made to order food. My next lunch order is on its way & I’m ordering the exact same thing! I’m curious of their consistency, I’m hoping for visible chicken slices in my pasta today, fingers crossed!
*pictures are from second order oct. 26th 2021* so far so great! Update more chicken today & crispier more garlicky bread still no pesto flavor but still yum. Husband loved his breakfast sandwich very filling!

We came in for a late breakfast. Upon placing our order, I kindly asked for a booth to be cleaned since almost every table except for the bar stools were unclean with plates, etc. Our food was ready pretty fast. However, I had to clean the table for us since it got busy and 3 employees were on their lunch together while a young man was struggling to attend most customers.I tried the cinnamon latter and I dont recommend it if you dont like overly sugary drinks.
