I went to the Harry Potter themed Beer Festival in Denver. It was an absolute blast! Tons of different beers to try including classic Harry Potter Butter Beer. They also had an awesome 90's band rocking out, people even started crowd surfing! It was held in an old church that's now a night club so it even felt like you were partying at Hogwarts! Great time, I'll definitely go back if they do it again.

I've had the pleasure of attending multiple Rock Star Beer Festivals on the east and west coast. From Harry Potter themed craft beer events to lively and exciting beer and music festivals, I make sure I don't miss an event when they're near me! The production of the events are well executed with no two alike and always a great selection of local breweries. Definitely a can't miss!

We had a blast at the Harry Potter themed Rock Star Beer Festival in Austin, TX. As you can see from the image there was a great turnout and people were decked out in their HP gear (though no stress if not as there were plenty of people just wearing t-shirts). We also were at the Louisville, KY location and that was a blast as well. Great beer throughout both events. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend for a great time full of beer, great live music, and awesome people.

I’ve done about a half dozen of the Virtual Fests and they’re a very solid spend. If there’s two of you just get one box. The breweries each make videos for their product, and that quality varies. The beers I’ve found are pretty well selected too although I wish they had more porters or stouts but is is summer after all.

But the beer comes to your door and you get to ignore the sales pitch if you like and there’s no awkwardness, so if you’re an introvert you are really missing out on this format. I do wish the “in between” videos were better but those are the East important after the beer and the brewery. As noted elsewhere, their customer service is pretty quick about turnaround time, and I find the communication good as well. Purchase with confidence, I’m on my way for more.

Super fun events with creative themes! If you're looking for the perfect night out with a group of friends or birthday festivities I would definitely recommend these parties.. they have multiple themed events at various venues, cruises, and a bunch of beer choices. I've been to three events between San Diego and Long Beach and my friends and I had a great time each time.. plus beer is included in your ticket price and you get to choose from multiple beers, IPAs, flavors, and some ciders.. I believe some events also have food but it varies. If you're a diehard fan of the theme they're doing, they also have a bunch of cool merchandise which is fun. We're looking forward to the Nightmare Before Christmas events they have coming up in the fall !

Update- after contacting the festival organizer through eventbrite they reactivated the links for me, and very quickly I might add! Adding a star back. Not 5 stars because the beer selection was a little underwhelming and some parts of the videos weren't for me. But overall I appreciate the effort that went into doing an online beer festival and the quick response after I contacted them.

Did the "Digital Edition" online/virtual beer festival. A good idea- in concept. In 2 hours there were 10 "beers" (one was cider, one was seltzer). I could in no way finish the beers in the amount of time given. I thought I could pause and start at my own pace but that was only the case during the 2 hours given (the videos were taken down after the 2 hours were up). It is a real shame that it has to be organized this way. The videos (as far as I made it- through the first 3 beers...) were a mix of interesting discussions with the brewers about the beer, some okay skits or attempts at entertainment, some musical interludes, and random and somewhat annoying clips of people chugging beers or doing other similar rowdy things.

One of the worst virtual beer festivals I’ve ever been to. The beer comes warm. Some beer has gone bad. I’ve gotten sick twice. The Oktoberfest event was marketed as a 2 hour event with live hosts, and day of they cut it down to an hour with a 10 minute break. They spent less than 5 minutes at the breweries and sped through all the beer. It was so disappointing.
