I have been coming here for many years. The Boston donut is incredible! Lots of things are. The Apple croissant is surprisingly amazing. They are known for their strawberry cream croissant. Prices are also super reasonable and so the line in the mornings even years later is often out the door, though it moves fast. Sometimes I can just breeze right in and out. Although I give the place an overall close to 5, I must disclose the butter croissant (pictured) is not a 5. The flavor is actually quite good and better than most, even ones I rate higher. But the sound and crunch are not there, so I can only give it a 3.5, sadly. It is consistent throughout the day somehow, whether 8am or 1:30pm (both pictured), so it has that going for it, but I grade tough so I think most people will be happy.

It was my first visit and I could see why everyone recommended this place. Everything that i bought was great while others look yummy too. The signature menu was obviously the strawberry croissant but my favorite was azuki doughnut, the one in the middle in the picture.

Celebrated an early Mother’s Day with the fam, so guess what I’m bringing?! Strawberry croissants!

Parking: There’s a large parking lot, but it’s always busy here, so finding a spot can be somewhat difficult.

Ambiance/Environment: They’re always poppin, and yes there’ll be a line. There’s signs everywhere asking for the door to remain closed if there’s a line. Make sure you’re not one of those people that can’t read and leave the door open. It’s pretty small inside. No indoor seating. They do have a small outdoor seating area.

Service: Throughput was surprisingly quick for how long the line was. Shout out to the hard working women there. They’re quick & efficient. They do have a heavy accent, and it could be difficult to understand them.

Pastries & coffee: We ordered the strawberry croissants, caramel mocha latte, and white chocolate mocha latte. The strawberry croissants are the reasons why we always come back. Love how airy and perfectly crisp their croissants are. The filling isn’t too sweet, and the strawberries are fresh. The lattes were okay .. I saw that they actually make their espressos by hand. The caramel mocha was sweet, of course. The white chocolate mocha was decent. Both could use a stronger coffee taste bc it was pretty light.

Pricing: The croissants are expensive, but definitely worth it for any occasion. Will be back to try their other pastries and coffee!

Founded in 2002, Cream Pan is well-known for its strawberry croissants. Over the years, they've added dozens of pastries, breads and cakes, as well as savory items like Japanese-style sandwiches and curry rice. You can always expect a wait which speaks to the popularity of this Japanese and French inspired bakery. Besides the strawberry croissants, other favorites of mine include the Choco Horn, their pork buns and Musubi. I recommend going early or else menu items may sell out.

I've only visited the Tustin location which can be found in Old Town Tustin, but it's great to hear that Cream Pan has grown and expanded to locations like Fountain Valley and Lomita. FYI - there is only outdoor seating available at the Tustin location. From my experience, staff has always been friendly and polite. If you haven't been to Cream Pan before, what are you waiting for

Incredible experience at this spot! The food was outstanding—especially the pork curry chop, which was tender, flavorful, and just right. The strawberry dessert was another highlight, not too sweet and super fresh. I couldn’t resist getting a box of six and, well, they didn’t make it past dinner! The staff were incredibly friendly, making the atmosphere even more inviting. The only downside was the wait time, which was a bit longer than expected, but honestly, with food and service this good, it was well worth it. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy another meal soon!

Bought their fried pork chop sandwiches for the first time. They were super delicious and very reasonably priced! Also bought their strawberry and custard filled croissants. Very yummy and not overly sweet. Would definitely recommend!

We stopped by Cream Pan on a Friday morning around 8:45 AM. There was a line but it moved pretty quickly (we were in and out in under 10 min). There are a lot of different bread/bun/pastry options but we got the popular strawberry croissant. To be honest, I didn't think this was anything special. It's a triangle of laminated dough that is filled with pastry cream and freshly cut strawberries. It tastes good but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop by.

We had a wonderful experience at the cream pan !
We ordered a blueberry croissant, a pecan pastry, an almond croissant, a curry bun, a sausage bun, and a pecan cinnamon roll. All of them tasted incredibly good and were so fresh. The presentation of each item was amazing, showing great attention to detail. The packing was also excellent, ensuring that everything stayed intact and appetizing.

We highly recommend this place for any occasion, whether it's a casual treat or a special celebration. All the products were fresh and of high quality, which truly sets this shop apart. The staff was friendly and provided exceptional service, making the whole experience even better. I will definitely order again. Thank you so much for your amazing service!
