I’ve eaten here a few times, and the food is always delicious. The loco moco is really tasty, with generous portions of meat and gravy. The mac salad, with its furikake topping, is some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a very small restaurant with only a few tables, but as I’ve only ever dined here on weekday afternoons, I don’t have a problem finding a table to sit at. The staff is friendly. Definitely my local go-to place when I want some yummy island eats.

Keoni Island Food is hands down my favorite place to grab a bite when I'm craving Hawaiian food. Their menu consists of various delicious dishes such as their popular Garlic Furikake Chicken, Loco Moco, Kalbi, and more. One time, I remember eating here and the guy next to us came up to tell us that it was "the BEST galbi he's ever had in his life". If that's not telling, idk what is! They also serve house-made malasadas! Soft, chewy, and perfectly sweet.

The staff was nice even 30 minutes before closing. The katsu was crunchy 👍🏽. The Mac salad was a little fishy for my liking. Spam musibi was ok.
Portions were smaller than expected for the price.

My wife and I came here because she wanted something new and I thought she would like Hawaiian food. I have never been a big fan of the macaroni salad or the slaw at other places I've tried but both were fantastic here. The pork belly was amazing as well as the ribs. My wife really enjoyed everything but we were too full for dessert! The portions were huge so you may want to share if you are not a big eater. We will definitely visit this spot again if we are ever in this area.

Honestly this is the best spot to get Hawaiian food in OC. I haven’t had anywhere better their meats are superior especially their galbi and pork belly. I didn’t know they could make pork belly so good. I also got their katsu and it was so light and crispy such a good texture. Their furikake chicken was the only meat that I didn’t really enjoy but overall from the salad and the Mac salad and everything else so delicious. Can’t wait to come here again. Also try their malasadas they come out fresh and hot and I ate it before my main meal and I have no regrets.

I was visiting from overseas and was looking for somewhere to eat, I heard good things about this place and we had the best lunch - We tried couple of dishes - the chicken furikake and beef ribs were superb. The Pork…. melts in your mouth.. Sooo good. I highly recommend this place, please give it a try and support a new business. We managed to have a chat with the owners and they were very welcoming and nice. Must try if you live local or visiting the area. 5 stars!

First time here!
Wow! The food here is so delicious and fresh tasting. We got the Combination beef/beef plate, the chicken Katsu plate and a spam musubi. The chicken was crispy to perfection and the beef was nice and tender. Their Mac salad was such a delight for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors it in! Such an incredible Mac salad!!!
The highlight of this meal for me was the fact that I wanted a small portion of the spam fried rice for my son, but they did not have a small portion - so I opted to skip it this time. My son was disappointed but agreed to share something with me. The Owner saw this and ended up bringing a portion of their fried rice for my son!! That gesture alone shows me that this place really had incredible/ above and beyond service.
Let me tell you... the spam fried rice literally was the best! The rice in it was fried and had crispy bits, and the flavor was bold and PERFECT!!!
I HIGHLY recommend Keoni Island Food to everyone!! Definitely give it a try... you won't be disappointed!!!
