A1 AG Farmer Market in Lathrop has potential, but it falls short in key areas—especially on the weekdays. The produce looks tired and overripe, with many fruits and veggies far past their prime. Even though prices seem affordable, the quality just doesn’t hold up—you really do get what you pay for. Some items aren’t even good enough to toss into a smoothie. It’s disappointing, especially for a place that calls itself a farmer’s market. Inventory management clearly needs improvement to keep things fresh. On the plus side, there’s a small nursery next to the market selling live vegetable plants for $2.50 each, which is a nice touch for home gardeners. And the clean restroom is honestly the best part of the visit. With better produce and freshness, this place could really shine. But for now, it’s more miss than hit.

Best prices on produce. Watermelon and mango is affordable. Always ripe fruit and good vegetables. They sell raw milk, sourdough, and Alexandre farms yogurt, milk 7/10 times I come.
Chilled drinks are a good price too.
They always answer the phone and are very straightforward if you want to ask for stock on fruits or vegetables.

I give this place 5 stars for the fresh produce and friendly owner. The only downside was that the strolling animals kept trying to steal my strawberries, but hey, it just added to the entertainment factor. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for some good eats. Just make sure to keep an eye on your snacks around those sneaky animals!

You can get a big variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. Owner is very friendly. He has a seasonal produce. Often he has stuff you may not find elsewhere in town, like black Arkansas apple. He's started selling wood fired pizza on some days. Sometimes though, there's overripe produce mixed in. I would rate it 4.5 stars.

I saw a Facebook ad and decided to visit for the first time. Unfortunately, there was no customer service, and the owner had a very rude attitude. I purchased a few items, but the ringed up prices seemed excessively high. The owner didn’t provide a receipt—he simply rang up the items and walked away. It felt like he knew he had overcharged me and didn’t want to be asked the receipt… I usually support and promote farmers’ markets, thats why drove far to reach there, but it’s clear that this business doesn’t seem to care about its customers.

Good variety of farm fresh veges. The guavas and the grapes were the best I've had. Loved the black eyed beans and yes, they have my favorite purple sweet potatoes so I'll be going there often. I wish they had more green leafy veges but I guess it's out of season for now.
