I have been growing Jonsteen trees for years. It all started with a clearance seed kit I found with Monterey Cypress seeds. 1 of those trees is now over 5 feet tall and about to be planted in it's new forever home in the Pacific Northwest. I was hooked and NOW have over 60 trees I brought with me when I moved from California June 2023. Depth of Agricultural inspected every tree and were thrilled at how healthy they were. I have Tulip Poplar, Santa Cruz Cypress, Oregon White Oak and so many more ranging from 1ft to 6 ft. They survived their first snow and the home I bought was FOR my trees, then for me.

Went on a road trip up hwy 1 all the way from Kansas to see all the big woods. Got a couple of redwoods from The Jonsteen Company to take home. We were so excited to get them home and planted, a week later the dogs enjoyed them as chew toys.

Couldn’t make the trip back to get more so found who and where we got them from and ordered more. (This time we got cages for them 😁)

Couldn’t be happier with how the trees came packaged and how fast they came!

So…. I bought these giant redwood seeds at Walmart in the clearance isle. 5$
Anyway I have tried to germinate redwoods before and failed every time. I followed the instructions they gave with the seeds. Easy enough for a young child to do. Now I have 6 healthy seedlings!!! I’m going to order more soon. Highly recommend.

Purchased a medium-sized American Elm "Survivor Tree" seedling which has been thriving so far in a container in my front yard. I plan to eventually plant in ground after nurturing it through at least 1 more winter here. Seems like a really nice company with a wide selection of quality plants.

I bought 2 trees (saplings) from JonSteen. Very happy with the trees (which I plan to Bonsai). Trees arrived in great health and are doing well even in this heat. Customer service after the sale is top shelf- excellent! I highly recommend JonSteen.

Bought 2 growing kits while visiting family in Arkansas. I was so excited to grow my own tree! I got the red maple and tulip poplar. I followed all directions exactly and nothing sprouted. I still keep making sure they stay moist and have plenty of light, but it’s been 6 months, so I think it’s time to give up. Very disappointing.
