Tahoma Market is a treasure that I've been enjoying for close to twenty years now. What's one step down from transcendent? Superlative? That's how good their deli sandwiches are. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. They have everything: from staples like milk, eggs, fresh baked bread, and light beer; to fancy cheeses, fresh produce, and a respectable wine and liquor selection. I was devastated during Covid when I thought they had closed for good, but they came back better than ever. Here's to 20 more.

This is an awesome little market and deli/liquor store.
Everything from cold drinks --fresh made sandwiches or fresh baked Stone baked Pizza...
Reasonable prices, staff very helpful and friendly.
There's a nice clean restroom.
A nice selection of gifts or candy / whatever you might need.😜😎🥳
If you park in the back of the store you can take the stairs up there's a little baskets back there you can take him to the store and fill your basket up with whatever you need for your purchase.
It's worth the drive 😉

The place was very clean and the staff was super friendly, I was a little intimidated by the sandwich prices at first, $10 for a half, but my god it was absolutely stuffed, pretty much a 6x6 inch sandwich loaded with meat and cheese, and whatever veggies you want as well as condiments. When I opened the wrapper I was then intimidated by the size of the sandwich wondering if I could finish it all, and im still full 5 hours later, I will definitely be back.

So it has been a minute since I've been to the tahoma market and deli. A lot has changed since then. The store has expanded and upgraded. Everything. Looks good.

But their deli hasn't changed. Their sandwiches are still phenomenal. Excellent deal when you are visiting the lake Tahoe area.

Local groceries that includes fresh vegetables, artisan and standard meat and cheeses, small selection of sundries, fast baked pizzas and plenty of ice by the bag. The extra additional parking in the rear (lake side) is safer to pull into and out vice the highway side.

Every year I take the wife and kids to my hometown and when in town Tahoma Market & Deli is always a must. Not for just the great atmosphere and views but because they make killer sandwiches and pizza's! If you haven't had them it's a must you will not regret it. We always bring 5 sandwiches down to Emerald Bay for our lunch it's a must.

Very nice market close to Meeks bay! Very friendly staff and they have a few things! Stopped by to pick up oat milk and some other things, saw they had a nice selection of things.
