Always looking for that one obscure spice and have no idea where to find it? You will find it here at Penzeys. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is incredible including Curry, Aleppo Peppers, Mexican Vanilla and regional blends from around the world. Amazing gem in the heart of Menlo Park.

Just picked up some Penney’s Spices. You can order direct as I did. Located in Menlo Park California.
They are made from top notch, all organic herbs and spices. The have an array of salt free spices as well. I purchased Air dried Shallots, California seasoned pepper which has black pepper, red and green bell pepper, granulated garlic and onion, Pasta sprinkle. “Which has sweet basil, Turkish oregano, thyme and garlic”Pico Fruta “ which has chili pepper, sugar, lemon peel, citric acid, salt and cilantro. Mural of flavor “ which has spices, shallots, onion, garlic, lemon peel, citric acid, chives and orange peel”. Pure Almond Extract. and last but not least Sicilian salad seasoning “which has dehydrated Romano cheese, sheep’s and cows milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes, salt, toasted onion, red bell pepper, tomato, white onion, paprika, Tellicherry, black pepper, Time, rosemary, cayenne and basil. Man I can’t wait to get cooking!!

I love their spices - the only ones I buy. The store isn't organized very well organized b(neither is their website), but they have good staff to help you find things. Be sure to get some fox point! You can use it on everything!!

Penzey's spices are fresh and potent and varied. Their Vietnamese Cinnamon is the best I've ever tasted, Each and every splice in the place features a huge sample jar so you can smell them. Friendly staff and a tidy and attractive space.

First, let me tell you story.... Once upon a time... JK. I'm a flight attendant. I was wearing a Penzey pin on my uniform. It's a simple heart with the word, "Kind." I was in London and someone spotted it!

"Penzeys!!" They exclaimed!!!

I asked if they lived in Menlo Park as well, they told me they live in Michigan! Wow, small world, no?

Anyway, back to the review.... Yesterday, I wanted stir fry. I was watching YouTube videos that were listing all kinds of ingredients.

All the sudden it occurred to me, I could go to P and get exactly what I needed. Lorraine and Liana, were exuberant. The store is an oasis of peace and love, you will understand when you enter.

I left the store with one ingredient called "Singapore."

POW. I had an amazing veggie stir-fry for dinner.

No matter what you're looking for, tell the associates, they will have the perfect solution.
