This is a charming place to have a casual meal. The concept of using locally grown ingredients is very appealing and responsible. Service is pleasant, however, food preparation is exaggeratedly long for a cafe-style restaurant. Good food takes time, but waiting so long for 2 to-go items is not ideal. The overall experience is fine, food taste is good and well-packaged, but the waiting time overshadows the end-product.

First time here. Food was good. Had toast, eggs, bacon and potatoes. It was pretty tasty. Tried the churro donut, it was better than I expected. The cashier was distracted and didn’t acknowledge me for a few minutes, I just needed a to go box. All she said was I’ll be right with you. The other two workers did not seem to be happy with her. All 3 were not smiling. The first person who took our order was friendly! I appreciate that! I tried the Chai, it was okay.

The atmosphere is very eclectic and rustic. The service and the prices are unfortunately not. Service staff are not friendly and don’t display a welcoming attitude. Even after I said good morning, the gesture was not reciprocated.

The prices have increased substantially also! I had a house coffee and paid $7 dollars (tip included). I understand the tariffs are an issue but $6 for black coffee is too much, especially when House Brew was $4. On top of that, the coffee was bitter and warm, I had to get almond milk to lessen the bitterness.

I will not be coming back in the near future.

*TLDR*
EAT Marketplace in Old Town Temecula is a charming spot with delicious pastries and a solid menu. Tip: There are two lines--one for pastries and to-go items, and another for food from the menu.

My wife and I enjoyed a Sunday breakfast at EAT Marketplace, a cute and vibrant eatery located at the start of Old Town Temecula. This spot offers a tempting selection of pastries along with a fantastic food menu. We started by getting a bacon and cheese egg biscuit and a maple and pecan doughnut from the to-go line. Both were great, but the standout was the ABC bagel sandwich that we ordered from the food line. The toasty bread and high-quality ingredients made it our favorite, though we wished we had some hot sauce to pair with it.

The maple and pecan doughnut was just the right amount of sweet, with the pecans adding a delightful crunch. We also appreciated the ample indoor and outdoor seating. Even though it was busy on a Sunday morning, we were lucky enough to grab a table outside and enjoy the views of Old Town Temecula.

Overall, a great breakfast experience with good food, a lively atmosphere, and plenty of seating options.

This place is truly a gem! As someone with a ton of allergies, it's incredibly hard to find a restaurant where I can actually enjoy a meal without worry. But this spot has been a lifesaver. The food is absolutely amazing — everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is just as wonderful, creating a cozy and welcoming vibe that makes every visit special.

A big shoutout to Annie and Nicole, who always go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. They’re not only super kind but genuinely make every visit feel like a personal experience. And let's not forget Joey—he makes the best coffee around! His brews are consistently perfect and add that extra touch to the whole experience. I honestly can't recommend this place enough!

This coffee shop in Temecula Valley, is by far one of my favorites when passing thru this area! Their menu is both plant based and mainstream dishes alike; with an ultra clean shop, and super sweet and helpful staff. My favorite treat other than a hot vanilla almond mylk latte, is getting one of their delectable vegan gluten-free donuts. They have some traditional flavors, but also unique seasonal ones. Including a blood orange, blueberry, maple pecan, orange chamomile and lemon lavender, (that was jus some from todays' visit); not to mention all the other pastries they have all look delicious, most of which adhere to dietary restrictions in some way. The Cafe is usually busy on weekends, but always running smoothly and never a long wait. On a weekday its the perfect place to come an get a few items of work done, will be back again for another amazing donut soon!
