Well worth visiting. Home of the Michigan Sequoias, featuring the "The Champ". Amazing view of the lake, with a little viewing area as well. A lot of cool information can be found on boards as well!

Worth the visit, worth the drive. Make a day or half day out of the area!

This is a new favourite spot for my family and I. The Giant Sequoia is amazing. It is on private property and is 100% volunteer run. There are many great hiking trails, elevated views of Lake Michigan, beautiful birds, and more. We haven't even explored the whole place yet but are planning on coming back later in June. Thanks to all the volunteers that keep it open and gorgeous!

Insane spot. Easiest best hidden gem so far.💎

I pitched a chair out of the way and went on business calls all day, only 3 people showed up (to the hidden trail).

They also feature the largest & fastest growing tree in the Midwest! A great sequoia 🌳Check out the fish eye shot I got! The avid meditators out there, this is a RARE MUST for tree meditation. (Read the story before hand! A lot more things to introspect about.)

Stopped here to view the Sequoia trees. Lovely spot on the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. There are some short trails that are very walkable. Parking is easiest in my opinion on the east side of the road across the street from the main property. A short drive out of Manistee the location makes a good, short side trip to get outdoors. Entry is free, donations welcomed.

Loved the whole atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and peaceful visit. There are 3 larger giant sequoias and a bunch of young sequoias. There's plenty to see here if you enjoy quiet walks amongst the trees and flowers, along with sights of the lake. It would have been great to check out the manor, but the buildings were closed.
