We had a fantastic experience working with Vince at Windy Rock Nursery. We were planning a micro forest and didn’t realize that bare root trees typically need to be ordered six months in advance. Vince went above and beyond to help us pull everything together—he was kind, gracious, and incredibly resourceful in making sure our order was complete. His attention to detail throughout the entire process and his genuine care made him an absolute pleasure to work with. Exceptional customer service and beautiful, healthy plants—highly recommend!

Had a very informative (and fun!) time with Vince going through exactly what my site consisted of (shade, soil types, etc.) and he helped us make sure that we were getting plants that would be great for the site. Highly recommend you going out and getting some natives from this nursery.
Can’t wait to show you some pictures in a couple years of all the growth.

I came across this nursery last year at the native plant sale, I wasn't able to go this year so instead made my way to their location and I'm so glad I did! Vince is very knowledgeable and so thorough. I had ideas of some plants I was hoping to get and with Vince's guidance (and patience!) I left with plants that I knew would work in my yard. I will definitely be back next season.

Vince is kind person who is generous with his expert knowledge and beautiful plants. We had an excellent experience at the farm; Vince helped us understand which trees would be just right for our project. He went the extra mile in detailing some of his farm practices that can be adapted for our project. Luckily, it was also a day when fresh peaches were available!

I was impressed with the service at windy rock, Vince was very knowledgeable about which plants that would grow well in clay soil, shaded and pesky deer. He took all the guess work out. Loved seeing his passion for his farm and nursery. Will definitely go back.

Windy Rock Farm is an amazing place. Vince has such passion and knowledge regarding Michigan's native pollinators and planting the right plants in the right place. I have tried to make my yard pollinator-friendly for years without success... until I met Vince at a local event and went out to his farm. He spent time discussing the goals I have for my yard and made recommendations on what would work best in the areas I have. The very first year, we had a noticeable increase in butterflies and birds!! I've had a few questions during the year and Vince always returns my emails promptly. The extra few dollars you'll spend here versus the local home improvement store are a non-issue when you experience the service and see the quality of everything at Windy Rock Farm. Definitely worth checking out!
