Great place to learn about fish restocking. An absolutely amazing pollinator garden and lots of fish mounts. Very friendly staff!

Nice stop if you like fish and clean bathrooms. They have lots of the one and enough of the others. Hours are limited, but they are open 7 days. Lots of things to read and look at. I dawdled and it took 30m to see everything. There are short walks you can take (I didn't) and you can get down to the Jordan River (I didn't). This is a pleasant stop and not a big detour, if you are backpacking the south part of the Jordan River/Valley Pathway.

The DNR officer on duty came over to ask whether we had any questions. He then left us to wander through and take our time looking at the fish and facility. We also took a walk along the river on the gravel road below the buildings. It was very nice.

Visitor's center was not open, but there were a couple picnic tables & a screened pavilion for you to picnic in & some hiking trails with beautiful wildflowers. Trails need some trimming though. Kids enjoyed seeing the small & large fish. Free!

Says "Hatchery Closed" on the sign, but was still open for a self guided tour. Kids liked seeing the fish, but it's a much different experience than say the Oden hatchery. The staff is friendly and the freedom to wander is pretty cool. The Jordan river is just beyond the West gate, and the better scenery was to the North on the trail versus the South.
