I stopped by early one Friday evening and tried a taster of three of their bourbons. They are using different casks to give different flavor notes to the whiskey, and it works great. I really enjoyed the port cask and sherry cask whiskeys. They do a good job making a comfortable space with good drinks here, and the staff was very cheerful. I’d definitely stop by again when I’m in the area.

My wife and I were staying in the Lake City area back in Sept 2024, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We were mapping out things to do and saw Bowright Whiskey Company. It definitely peaked our interest, so we had to stop. It did not disappoint. What a great place, with great people. It was nice to sit down and talk to the owner, Bryan, and hear the story behind the business. Of course, while sipping on a couple of wonderful craft cocktails. Fast forward to today. I had mentioned to Bryan back then that I would post a review since we enjoyed our time there so much. Well, I failed and did not post a review back then, so here it is. We did a taster of each bottle. Personally, I enjoyed every bottle that Bryan has put together. My two favorites are the blended bourbon and the blended rye. To be honest, I'm not a rye guy, but his rye is excellent, and it may even come in ahead of the bourbon for me. But... I still bought a bottle of the bourbon, which I FINALLY opened tonight. See attached photo. It is so smooth. We will definitely plan another trip up north to visit and get a bottle of rye, or more.

What a great addition to Lake City! Such a cool interior with custom work working - clean & comfortable! The owners were so fun and the drinks are tasty. Definitely recommend and we will be back. Bought a bottle of Longbow Living Cask

Very welcoming! Great drinks! We enjoyed blueberry whiskey sours and smoked fish dip. Everything was delicious! The owners were so kind and welcoming! We loved the atmosphere and decor and hearing about how they made it. We will definitely come back when in the area.

Caution! Hours are not accurate or updated hours aren’t posted anywhere. We drove from Higgins Lake on a Saturday afternoon to give this place a try, just to find it closed. We’d checked their Facebook, websites, and Google… so disappointed. Not a great way to do business. If we can make it back some other time, we’ll update our review…

Owner Bryan Parks is a great guy. He opened this bar around 2019. He did himself all the bar table from barrel. He got great knowledge of whiskey and bourbon. He knows well about his products and pass the information to his happy customers. Hopefully someday will be able to get back there again. Definitely visit this place if you’re visiting this nice town.
