I believe all the bad reviews that have been written in the comments section. If that is the case when people contact most any Solano County department people have bad experiences and county employees are rude.

Then is it time for the Solano County Civil Grand Jury to complete an investigation against Health and Social Services in Solano County and write a damning public report about the misconduct.

The Civil Grand Jury is the watchdog for local government!!

FYI ordinary citizens that reside in Solano County can serve as a Solano County Civil Grand Jury member for a term and investigate all local government department misconduct, mismanagement and even law enforcement misconduct.

If you just want to file a complaint about county, city and law enforcement misconduct then obtain a Solano County Civil Grand Jury complaint form online at the Solano County Civil Grand Jury website. Fill out civil grand jury complaint forms and turn them in. Your name and complaint is kept private!!

Stop letting Solano County bully you and your family members.

The Civil Grand Jury can disclose Solano County mismanagement and misconduct publicly.

If it is found that county and local officials are abusing their power then the civil grand jury can remove them from their position. That includes all county employees, all city employees, all law enforcement employees, public school employees, group homes, board of supervisors, city council members, mayor, Probation department, county jail employees, public works, etc.

Absolutely worst phone service known to man. If you have 3-5 hours to wait on the phone, then maybe it's fine for you, but most people I know can't spare that time. Then, after waiting an hour or so, it'll sometimes just claim they're too busy and drop your call. The one time I've gotten through is when they asked if I wanted a call-back, so I said yes (it said it'll call within 30 minutes). It was at around 9am, they called back at around 3:45pm. Ridiculous service, and they sure as hell aren't more busy than San Diego county which I can get a worker pretty much immediately.

I tried for 5 DAYS to get in touch with someone on the phone...for 4 days it kept telling me there were too many people in line to speak to an agent and they couldn't handle that many and to call back at a later time...for 4 DAYS!!! Finally I got through on Friday to wait more than 2 hours to speak to THE rudest person ever! She literally told me, when I asked her where to get free food in Benicia, and she replied there weren't any places, to which I asked why not and she said call your Congressman! NO HELP AFTER 5 DAYS WAITING! And when I asked what I needed for my interview, she said "You have until Thursday to come up with something AND HUNG UP! After that the survey started and it asked if the person was nice and polite...I selected 2 for NO...it said there was an error and my selection wouldn't be recorded and hung up!! So we can't even give honest feedback to them!! What's the point?!?! I have over 30 years of guest services experience and am unemployed cuz I'm overqualified and she has a job!!! Wow!! DONT BOTHER CALLING...GO INTO THE OFFICE!! 5 DAYS OF WAITING FOR THAT!!

When you are applying for emergency assistance or any assistance there is no compassion or empathy for people who are in a bad situation. These employees should be retrained to deal with the public

Any time I ever have to go to this office I see a bunch of people waiting to be helped and almost all of the workers just walking around and talking amongst themselves. the last time i entered the office they didn't even have a machine to print out what number you are, the just had a bunch of pieces of paper cut up and a pencil and you have to write it down yourself. and forget about making a phone call to receive a quick response instead of going to the office. You will almost never get through on the phone. I only get an agent once every couple of weeks to answer the phone otherwise it says, "due too high call volume we cannot answer your call, please try again later" and then the call hangs up. I don't understand the need for such a big building full of people who aren't doing their job all at the taxpayers' expense. maybe the office should be downsized, and the building be used for people who actually need it and want to do their job.

This office is just as bad as Vallejo. Not sure how it's my fault that certain doctors don't do anything productive work and than suggest I go back on meds that haven't worked are not going to work. When my issues are severe enough. Basically what I gather is I have to suffer and I could lose any sensory in my body I could potentially die early or wheelchair bound for the rest of my life because I've already exhausted all the medications and other treatments they are will to give. What makes me upset I'm always forced to start over especially at this clinic because they don't read charts are try to even compare notes I've gathered for years. THERE TRYING TO GET RID OF ME BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO DO MED CHANGE AND READ MY CHART AND THEY ALWAYS SEND ME SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT ALWAYS TELLS ME THEY CANT HELP ME!
