We stopped in this area on our way home during a road trip. I don't recall it being bad. Not sure if it was a bathroom break, a food break or a gas station.

What can you really expect from a small town out in the middle of no where? The shopping stores are small and not much on options, it's just whatever they carry. Or if your o.k. with driving North to Medford or South to Redding than I would recommend that, plus the employees here are all rude and pretty much tired of their jobs, who can blame them, I'd be too.

All it is a little outside mall with different stores around it. And a couple of fast food places

Nice grocery store but bathrooms were a bit stinky. Maybe someone had an accident just before I entered. Good Tesla charge stop. Variety of food choices.

We went to Harbor Freight to purchase nitrile gloves for our business. The staff was very friendly & the young man at the register welcomed us and offered assistance if we needed it. Found everything we needed & then some! I really like that they email my receipt to me too!

Walmart and Raley's are anchor tenants. Mostly fast food plus one soup and sandwich place. Never a problem with close-in parking. Both Walmart and Raley's are large versions. Walmart is clean and recently upgraded. Other tenants include O'Reily auto parts, dollar store, Carl's Jr., MacDonalds, and DMV.

Anchor tenant Penny's has closed permanently and has been replaced by a large Goodwill store operated by Southern Oregon Goodwill.

AAA has also closed, but large appliance store, Black's is still operating. Stores for most cellphone operators are available. A large carwash business has opened as well.

Across Fort Jones Road, new stores have opened, including Auto Zone, Starbucks, Arby's and a mini mart.
