These guys are awesome! I was in a time crunch and asked if they could recommend me something that could get me out in time for my train. They not only got it out with plenty of time to spare, it’s delicious, extremely well priced, and loved the whole kitchens hustle. Great atmosphere, families, couples, a mixed crowd- all great vibes. The bartender recommended a wonderful strawberry marshmallow sour and all around it was great for a Friday afternoon stop. 10/10

An all-time classic pizza place that’s been a staple for great food and good times in Solana Beach for decades. The Caesar salad is always a great way to start things out, along with the beer buddies. The pizza is always delicious too. They offer a variety of local beers and there are video games for the kids. A few TVs too, so it’s a great place to watch the games. Seating inside can be tight at peak hours but the outdoor seating section has been expanded over the years.

Unprofessional and Disrespectful Management

Our group of 8 visited Pizza Port on Saturday, December 7th, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences we’ve had at a restaurant. The General Manager, Chris, and his wife, who manages the bar, greeted us with rudeness and hostility before we even sat down. Their attitude stemmed from us having plastic beer cups outside—something no one had informed us about beforehand.

Rather than addressing the issue calmly or professionally, they were rude and dismissive, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. This kind of behavior from management is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the business.

All 8 of us are sharing our negative experience on Yelp, Google, and social media, along with video evidence of the confrontation. A business is only as strong as its management, and unfortunately, Pizza Port’s leadership is letting it down.

I love this pizza. Anytime I’m in Solana Beach I get this pizza. I’m not a big beer drinker but I do like their sours.

This is a local favorite, it was recommended by an Airbnb host where we were staying at. We have had better pizza not to say this wasn’t good… my margherita was cheese heavy and somewhere a miscommunication occurred that resulted in my having no sauce rather than added olive oil.

The other pizza we ordered was better, forgot the name.

This review is based purely off of the food, didn’t really interact or experience the customer service, we just ordered and picked up.
