Honestly, I don’t know why this place has such good ratings. It’s a small place, and the menu is limited to mostly sandwiches and a few brunch items. There’s only one table inside; the rest is a bar with three stools (that don’t even reach the height of the table) and two small armchairs with a tiny table.

We ordered the omelette and the Easy avocado toast, a coffee, and a bottled juice (no fresh juices available). I didn’t like the omelette because it was basically just the egg covering everything else, with some rustic potatoes on the side. My husband liked the sandwich. There was a variety of pastries that we didn’t try.

We also ordered the soup of the day, which was a tomato basil cream. It was a large portion. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t extraordinary either.

Very cute little coffee and bakery shop. Nice servers who were polite and courteous. We ordered the smoked salmon avocado toast, croissant, egg salad sandwich & French toast.
Food was excellent and fresh. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this cafe! Def a hidden gem in Santa Monica. I got the Brioche Bun Egg Sandwich and it came with potatoes for about $13 and it was splendid 🧚🏾‍♀️🧚🏾‍♀️I’m definitely returning and the back outdoor seating was amazing esp for summertime afternoon!!

Very helpful with my decision of what delicious treat to get. Which ended up being the honey cake. It was tasty, not too sweet and the coffee is good. I am editing this review as I have stopped by again and got the blueberry tart thing and it was delicious. French toast is worth getting as well. Always friendly service.

I got the veggie panini and an iced matcha w/ oat milk; both were very good. My brother ordered a french toast that he vacuumed down in 5 seconds and my dad ordered an omelette that he could not get enough of. Everything was just so fresh and healthy. The service was great and the employees are so friendly! I definitely suggest eating in the back patio, the atmosphere is just amazing!

I work nearby so I’m lucky enough to be able to stop by for lunch or coffee quite often. The food is pretty good! I’ve had their pasta, the burger, both of the breakfast burritos, a few of their sandwiches and of course a wide array of their pastries!!! So far, they have the best basque cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life!!!! Their original AND chocolate flavors are so good!! Lately they’ve been releasing seasonal drinks as well and I am so obsessed. Over the summer I was obsessed with the toasted coconut latte and now I’m obsessed with their Nutty Banana latte. Love love love Uppers 🙂

parked across the street in the morning. delicious breakfast burrito and iced americano! burrito comes with seasoned potatoes with onions and red bell pepper. also ordered the chef’s bagel for my mom which she enjoyed. will definitely be back!
