There are five locations in California and they're all in Southern California. As of April 2024, I have only been to the Silverlake and Frogtown locations. I prefer this location because it's more remote, away from traffic and parking is a little easier. They do have a few (maybe a couple?) parking spaces in an adjacent lot for La Colombe visitors, but street parking is easy to find (depending on what time you visit). The patio is a great space, with plenty of seating. Know that the sparrows outside in the patio are bold and will eat your pastry if you don't watch it. After your coffee and/or pastry, enjoy a walk along the bike path right outside the patio.

I cannot qualify the pastries as they ran out when I got there. I ordered a draft oatmilk latte. It was satisfying. I also purchased two Nizza roast boxes and had them ground. It was all quick and efficiently done. The barista was kind and very knowledgeable. Will be returning.

This is the spot. A lovely, little shop tucked away along the LA River, with consistently great coffee, friendly service, lovely pastries, and relaxing vibes. And unlike many trendycoffee spots in car-centric LA, this location is very bike and pedestrian-friendly.

Great coffee in a beautiful place. The half tan tap latte was exactly what I want. The latte on tap is super creamy. Love it.

Relaxing place by the LA River. We saw people got their coffee and climbed down the river Bank to enjoy the rushing water. The outside seating was shaded, relaxing, with small birds pecking the crumbs and drinking from the water bowl.

I was very underwhelmed by their coffee and food compared to what it tastes like on the East Coast. The pastry was dry but it was a cool atmosphere, service was top notch and definitely would recommend for vibe.

Sorry but this place is really mid. What wins you over is the location, the river the courtyard annnd that’s about it. I always thought they were a decent coffee roaster and I think they are but this location in particular doesn’t seem to know how to pour drafts.
Every time I’ve ordered a draft from here I’d say a quarter of the drink is all foam.
Imagine going to get a beer at a bar and the only actual beer you get is like two shots in a pint glass. Would you want that? Would you pay $8 for two shots of beer? Surprisingly I’ve had their canned drafts and they were much better.
Again not a review of the brand itself just this location. It’s typically quiet, well spaced out and chill. And I liked this spot because a draft latte is usually worthwhile among the other so so cafes in the area.
Hopefully they can rectify this because I’d like to keep coming back.
