Great variety of goods from the Balkans. Owner was very nice and sweet. Should you need help finding any products or want to learn more about it, he would definitely offer help. They have quite a lot of herbal tea choices - I enjoyed the sage tea that was recommended to be for digestive aid 🙂

So happy I found this place. Recently moved to the area and I was looking to fulfill my need for Balkan foods. Super nice shop owner who insisted I take some bananice with me free of charge. Pretty much has everything a Balkan market should have, highly highly recommend this place, they deserve all the success.

Went there today to get out of the rain (I was on my bike) went in and looked, they have a lot of neat things! I got some smoked beef to try and the guy working there was kind to a fault. He took a couple of candy bars and put them in my bag, then I saw one with hazelnut and offered to trade those two for that one, and he put that one in and insisted I take all three. Which brings me to...

Bananko. You must try this. It's a banana candy bar. It's long and curved like a banana, made of a sort of yellow marshmallow and dipped in dark chocolate. But it gets better - it's got that "banana" flavor which if you're a 60s/70s kid like me, will give you a very nostalgic feeling. And the texture is almost like a banana - almost juicy. It is simply not to be missed.
