Target has now dropped DEI. I am a white woman who believes this is, egregious. You pushself checkout,” instead of hiring workers and have very few workers to assist customers that are shopping. Iwill happily join the 30 day NO SHOPPING PROTEST. If you don’t grow a backbone this consumer will spend her money elsewhere permanently.

As a San Diego native and black male, I've always steered clear of Santee and El Cajon for the most part. Most in my demographic would agree - Klantee...no explanation needed.

I purchased over $500 of Zevo bug spray, both green and purple cans. I checkout at self-checkout pay for everything and bag up. Upon exiting, a young, white, female employee, quickly walks over to me and demands to see my receipt. I'm blown away. I'm thinking to myself - Are you not aware that I'm the only black male in here, every single kiosk is occupied, there is a line, and for some reason (racist reason), you come straight up to me and demand my receipt? Insane. Like a deer in headlights, I initially just froze in shock and stared at her. I snapped out of it, and without saying a word, I attempted to maneuver my cart around her. She physically jumped in front of me and got on her walkie-talkie requesting security to the front. Shocked and humiliated, I relented and aggressively put my receipt in her face and called her a crazy B. I remember feeling so defeated as I have been experiencing racial profiling to a degree that some would probably jump off a cliff. Another older, Asian male employee witnessed the whole thing and walked me out while profusely apologizing for his coworker's behavior. That did make me feel a little better, at least someone understood what I was feeling. I came back in to speak to a manager. He was a white guy who somewhat mocked me and didn't seem to care as he smiled while stating, "I just got here so I don't know what's going on." This was pretty foul.

This specific store is giving racist treatment to black customers especially. My sister when there to get her baby milk and the cashier Erica has a bad attitude toward her like she stole something even though they have all the proof and evidences she didn’t. Even the manager is not cooperative and understanding which is very unfair and disrespectful.

I used to enjoy going to target for the experience but I've noticed this location has really let themselves go--most notably in the bathrooms. I don't mean a little paper here and there but unsanitary. It disgusting and the company really needs regular maintenance and deep cleans
