I just stayed at 1440 for a two-night work offsite and I already want to go back. The second I drove onto the property I felt a sense of calm. The grounds are stunning and serene. Being surrounded by redwood trees is lovely. I knew we were staying in the basic rooms, and I was skeptical of what they’d be like prior to arriving. The room was definitely small but for sure exceeded my expectations. It was tastefully decorated, with a nice bathroom and very comfortable bed. A true highlight of 1440 is the food. So fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Everyone in our group couldn’t stop raving. Finally, all the 1440 staff were so attentive and helpful, all the time. I really hope to have the opportunity to go back!!

My stay at 1440 multiversity was a beautiful event when the space was formerly owned by a.com billionaire. The prices were fair and it was open for the average person to come and spend some time on these beautiful grounds. I don't know what happened to this place but it has definitely gone hollywood. I was interested in going to an event there having to do with food and at almost $1,000 a night to stay and partake in the food I am shocked and appalled. This is a resource that should be available to the community at a reasonable price. The average person has been priced out. This beautiful nature has been taken over by an elite mentality to the loss of the larger community. I will remember my time spent there when the main purpose was not a cash grab.

Very unprofessional organization! and judgmental if you have tattoos. More specifically their Director of business Dusty and General Manager Luigi. I would not recommend them to anybody.

One of the best - if not the best - hospitality experiences I have encountered. The location, the comfort of the rooms, the surrounding nature, the signature class offerings were all top notch. The food was fantastic as was the friendly, nourishing service. I never leave reviews, but this place really stood out to me, and I felt I could not pass up the opportunity to thank the staff and director with a review.

The grounds are calming and relaxing. The hot tub overlooking the forest was even more incredible than the picture.

The service and amenities blew us away. This is an exceptional place - the food and service was beyond anything we've experienced before. The staff went above and beyond, from greeting us and giving us directions to every location (even standing in the rain) to giving opening and closing our umbrellas for us - (Having umbrellas available at every building entrance was so helpful). The food was incredible and so well presented as well. We've never experienced service and attention to detail at this level and it made our retreat so special.
