I did a 3 month volunteer program in Oaxaca and it was the best time of my life. I got so much experience improving my Spanish by speaking with the locals, and everybody I had the pleasure of interacting with was extremely kind and gracious to me. I also had SO many opportunities to expand and explore my artistic journey, including painting a mural, which led to two more opportunities for me to create art for businesses outside of the program. I made so many friends, and re-discovered my true passion for art and illustration. This trip sparked my interest in traveling solo more often, and I can confidently say Mexico has such a magical soul.

I did an internship in Barcelona with Adelante Abroad and it was an incredible experience. The accommodation was in a perfect location, super central and safe. The Spanish school was amazing with lots of people I became friends with. The internship was better than I could have hoped for with an incredible office, fabulous team and I was able to learn lots of new skills. Barcelona became like home to me and I will always be grateful for my time there. Thank you so much!!

Studying and interning with Adelante Abroad in Madrid, Spain, was an incredible experience. The two-month program provided a unique blend of academic learning and hands-on work at a local NGO. I gained valuable insights into Spanish culture and language, while also contributing to meaningful projects that made a difference in the community. the placement was really fun and very informative. Edinburgh is beautiful; however, it rains a lot, so bring a rain jacket. There is so much to do, so take advantage of seeing Scotland by train. There is no need for super fancy clothes; at university, everyone is very casual. The apartment felt safe, and so did the city.

Public transportation is excellent, and getting around is easy. Make sure to visit the local markets and try some traditional Scottish food. The university facilities are top-notch, and there are plenty of resources available for research and study.

Social life is vibrant, with plenty of cafes, pubs, and cultural events to enjoy. The locals are friendly and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home. Overall, my experience was enriching both academically and personally. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a study or work opportunity in Edinburgh.

I participated in an eight-week program in Barcelona, and I had the time of my life. Adelante found an internship that worked well with what my preferences were, and my local advisor was super helpful anytime I needed anything. Seriously the best experience ever, and I can't recommend it enough!

I went on the Edinburgh Equine abroad Program 2024, and I was super nervous about going alone, but I made great friends! There was a larger travel distance into Edinburgh than initially stated, but it was not that bad if you went with multiple people. I do recommended carrying a rain jacket with you wherever you go, because you never know when it is going to rain. There was so many cool things to do in Edinburgh for free that were very interesting and exciting! There was also plenty of great views everywhere we went! the royal mile is also so big with a lot of adorable shops and things to do!

Overall, Scotland was amazing! Had a wonderful time with the college and class was great. However, lots of miscommunication from Adelante including riding gear needs and transport guidance. Also, we were told we’d be given a meeting where we could schedule flights all together and meet each other; that never happened so we were all late on our flight purchases. Scotland was great, Adelante needs work on their communication!
