Title: A True Treasure in California Wine Country!

Review: Pelican Ranch Winery is hands down our favorite spot! The wines are exceptional, and Phil’s expertise really makes each tasting a delight. He crafts some of the best wine we’ve ever enjoyed.

Our visit to the Pelican Ranch winery was motivated by hearing a group play there on a Saturday afternoon. It was a good call as the wines were excellent. A surprise was the individual pizzas known as Bronx-Style Pizza and made by the owner (Phil). Very tasty and made for a good lunch, going well with the reds.

It's a modest tasting room, with a nice out-door atmosphere among the trees.

Getting to this location can be a bit tricky as you follow a narrow winding and sometimes one-lane road (Bean Creek Road) in a heavily forested area. Not a lot of signage, so keep a watch for the yellow sign.

Pinot Noir is my favorite and Pelican Ranch has several that I love. Wine maker, Phil, knows these California wines very well and loves to share his knowledge. Go, it's good.
