I had a great experience! Not as close to the beach as I thought but the hotel and amenities were great! I had a good workout at 7. Drank like 4 cups of delicious complementary coffee. I didn’t take the option of breakfast from the restaurant but it looked decent. The bed was squishy but comfortable. Super clean and well kept.

Casey, on front desk, is an absolute legend. He is extremely friendly and helpful. A guy with high energy who seems to really love his job and makes you feel immediately welcome.
He deserves a raise.

What a shame, so noisy! We booked this hotel because of its location, price and esthetic. The king suit is really pretty and spacious with beautiful furnishings. The room was very clean as well. However, do not allow them to book you in room 112 which is right next to the gym that is open 24 hours. I am currently laying in bed after being woken by someone in the gym dropping weights after each set creating extremely loud thuds. Last night, as we tried to sleep, we could hear each step as someone ran on the treadmill. The doors in the hall slam shut and are extremely loud. This room is located next to an exit with people coming and going at all hours allowing the door to slam. It’s sounds like someone stomping around in the room above us. It seems like the walls and floors are not insulated well to reduce noise. Last, our heater quit working last night. Our room is freezing this morning!

Beautiful, clean upscale hotel. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Management has a great style of managing. Team oriented, very caring and helpful to other staff.
Has a very nice bar serving hard liquor, local beers. Small area for dining. Great outside area with fire tabels.

Positive: It looks good until further inspection Negative: I was locked out of my room for 1.5 hours. At first the balcony door lock was jammed. Then I went to get ice and the dead bolt auto locked. another guest had the same issue. I didnt feel comfortable staying the rest of the night yet they denied a refund.

Paper thin walls. Spent the night at this Four Points and it was one of the worst sleeps I’ve had.

Couple next door had their music on until 3:30am, plus a couple of rounds of being forced to listen to their intimate moments made it impossible to sleep. Even with earbuds on.

We also called the front desk to ask if they could lower the music and they just disregarded us.

Unfortunately, the hotel is nice and the rooms are spacious with a good location to the redwoods and Santa Cruz, but makes it impossible to give it a high rating when the main purpose of any hotel is to have a good night sleep.

Yes, I know this will be a funny story down the line, but right now I’m tired and did not appreciate the staff.

When in the Santa Cruz area, we always stay at the four points. The lobby is nice for working, the rooms are a good size, and we especially like the kind staff. Special kudos to Casey for making us feel so comfortable, he takes care of everything!

Stay there for a second time on New Year's Day and was disappointed when had to make four trips to get a new room key that worked. Upon check out was promised 15,000 envoy points for our problems and made a call a week later and still nothing. The rooms are nice but there's not enough light and as mentioned other places the bed frame sticks out and many shins are knocked against it I'm a platinum elite on bonvoy and you have disappointed me
