Was driving through Oceanside and saw a sign for local hot sauce solutions had to stop by. Was greeted by a nice guy George who was informative and gave me multiple samples to try. Really didn't find a sauce I didn't like, they're all really good. But I found ones that had exactly what I was looking for. Too many times have I spent money on hot sauce to then not enjoy them. I'd recommend this place for the good taste and quality of the hot sauce and customer service that George provided. I brought my 4 year old daughter with me and George treated her like any other customer. I'll definitely be back and get more of the bomb hot sauce they sell! Legit shopping experience! Legit Products! Was not expensive for the unique and hard to find hot flavors. I found Painfully Awesome hot sauces and tasty here. On tacos, on grilled fish/chicken, in soups/stew, on crackers, and definitely oysters. I found hot sauces for every meal. The five choices I bought I had shipped home as I was visiting from another state. I love trying different hot sauces and these are some of the tastiest and hottest I have found across the USA. They have a tasting table inside with all the options available. That was great, as I was able to taste what I would like before purchasing. I didn't grab the name of the lady helping me, but she was a true hot sauce concierge. The smoked pepper and "Raising the Bar" sauces were wonderful. They also carry a good selection of spicy salts. This is a welcomed little shop for hot sauce lovers. More than enough variety to keep anyone interested.

If you're lucky and you time it just right, you'll pull up near this location, get out of your car, and smell the most amazing aroma ever...and you'll wonder where the heck it's coming from. Well, it's from here, where they're roasting peppers and literally making magic. What a treasure it is to have this place so close to home! I honestly didn't expect much upon going in but came home with three amazing sauces without any taste test. Top notch sauces, great and super friendly staff, and a wonderful local business to definitely support!

I’ve been driving by this place for a while. I thought it was just some Mom and Pop store with weak sauces and rip off prices. It’s the exact opposite. Very knowledgeable and professional staff that can give you great recommendations based on your preference. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the majority of sauces are made in the back of the store. They have a ton of different sauces to taste if you’re not certain what you prefer. If you’ve got an addiction to heat and flavor, you owe it to yourself to stop by.

George is so friendly and enthusiastic! My husband and I dropped by on a Saturday afternoon and got to sample about two dozen products. George was happy to tell us all about the hot sauces and their creators while we went through the lineup. George makes several hot sauces of his own, and I can see why they’re award-winners! Be sure to give California Hot Sauce Solutions some love (and if you drop in Monday through Friday, you might even see some hot sauces being made in the back room!).
