Off to the Farmhouse has been a wonderful experience all around for my 2 children and I. My daughter started there 9 years ago and attended for 4 years! My 7 year old son started in the Passport program last year and has had so much fun. I appreciate the hands on learning and experiences he receives. He loves having fun and being outdoors while he learns. All the staff are so sweet and encouraging. The administrative team is communicative, responsive, and so helpful in addressing every question or concern. I highly recommend Off to the Farmhouse to all families looking for outdoor, hands on learning in a loving and encouraging environment.

We are a homeschooling family that is learning all the time! We have participated in many different experiences but Off To The Farmhouse is by far our family's favorite! The experiences they create I know are being turned into core memories. Ms. Angela has created an environment for students to thrive in numerous ways. She as well as the rest of the staff foster the independence of each child. Recycling items to play a better part in taking care of our community while empowering the students to try so many new things. My child loves participating in all of the physical activities that are always so creative. Then the level of art that they learn is just wonderful. I am always so excited to see what is in the backpack at pickup. Fostering their love for animals and nature is truly remarkable. Not to mention all of the food things they try after they have made them! The flavors are out of this world as we purchase a wide variety of items from the farmhouse. Ms. Angela's salad dressing is the biggest family favorite. Skills shared here are what we need to be teaching every child! Give them experiences to learn. They have been able to take lots of complex topics and teach them in ways that children are able to not only retain but also happy share and create when they return home. Ms. Angela as well as every member of her staff have created an amazing community that your child will be truly blessed to be a part of.

All four of my kids have been attending the Farmhouse for years now. Angela and team provide such a caring, dynamic, explorative, peaceful, and wonder-filled environment for my homeschooled kids. Not only have they had the opportunity to engage in experiences I cannot provide at home, I know first hand she is equally as interested in nurturing the entire child - mind body and soul. As a bonus, she is an excellent mentor mom as she has raised four amazing adult children of her own. These formative years of my kid's lives would not have been as rich for our family without Angela and the Farmhouse.

My twins have been going to Ms. Angela’s Off to the Farmhouse for 2 years now. I cannot say enough how wonderful and magical this place truly is. Ms. Angela and are staff are the kind of educators we need for our children to have priceless memories from their childhood and to have moments that nurture their little bodies and soul. The team comes up with very thoughtful ideas for every class. My kids love the variety in art, crafts, science and body in motion classes. My twins have hand embroidered handkerchiefs to strengthen their fine motor skills then built solar ovens to learn to cook food in it. They have learned about parts of insects and critters and then sawed real wood to make bug hotels. They have held newly born baby goats to bottle feed them milk and then learned about rocks by looking into a microscope. I highly recommend Off to the Farmhouse to all families who are looking for a more holistic approach to education. It is truly a gift to all families with young children in north county.

Our experience at Off to the Farmhouse has been amazing! From the moment we enrolled our son, we’ve been impressed by the dedication and passion that Ms. Angela and the entire team bring to their teaching. The team creates an environment where each child is encouraged to explore, ask questions, and grow. OTTF integrates STEM learning in a way that makes the subjects come alive. And caring for the goats and chickens provides invaluable lessons in responsibility, empathy, and animal care. OTTF’s hands-on approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

Another highlight at OTTF is the abundance of healthy food options for the kids to try. The children are introduced to fresh, locally grown produce and discover the benefits of healthy eating and using food as a tool for healing and well-being. My son has developed a newfound appreciation for mushrooms, goat’s milk, and kale chips! A bonus is much of the food is available for purchase each week.

I’m so grateful for the impact Off to the Farmhouse has had on my son. It's truly a special place, and I highly recommend it to any parent who wants their child to experience a nurturing, hands-on learning environment led by a passionate and caring team!

Our daughter is more reserved but the staff here has been amazing in helping her build her confidence. She loves going to farm school. From the staff to the crafts to the activities, our daughter is thriving in this environment.
