What an absolutely magical experience! I sincerely believe our toddler had just as much, if not more fun than when we took him to Disneyland, and Avila Valley Barn admission is FREE! Parking is FREE! Our boy loved touching the chickens and feeding the animals. They have goats, emu, peacock, a bull, a cow, donkeys, and more! For $3 you can purchase a head of romaine e lettuce to feed the goats and ponies. Food pellets are also available. They have corn for sale cheap! The corn condiment table has everything you could want. Afterward. You can feed the cob to the goats. Or as our toddler did, pick off individual pieces of corn and feed it to the goats. There’s an ice cream shoppe, candy shoppe, fruit and veggie shop, gift shop, coffee shop, etc. They even offer pony rides.

We will definitely be visiting Avila Valley Barn every time we are in San Luis Obispo county! What a great family experience!

Such a fun place see and feed farm animals, buy fresh vegetables and fruit. You can ride a tractor around the farm. T is a great tour guide. We picked fresh apples and you can pick flowers too. There is really good food on sale to eat there and picnic. Overall great family friendly place and friendly helpful staff.

It is a very nice road stop, veggies and sweets, animals, and hay rides.
About 100 different pumpkin verities, different colors, and shapes.
Feed the goats, donkey, and others.
Takes you back in time, with courtesy and good drug free fruits and vegetables plus homemade pies, candy, and scoops of ice cream.
Prices are fair, quality is excellent. 👍

Such a pretty pumpkin patch and family farm! Definitely lived up to my expectations. It was pretty busy when I went but I got a lot of beautiful pictures with my kids and the biggest pumpkin I have ever gotten. Not for a bad price either. I'll be coming back next year!

I love stopping here, I always find things, gifts for friends, good pies, honey, fruits and veggies, bee pollen, and so much more
I came on a Thursday to avoid the crowds, and there were a lot of kids on a trip. They have goats, cow's, lama's to feed. Visit the ice-cream shack and / or get some roasted corn on the cob. This place is beautiful during the holidays. Go early if you can to miss some of the traffic and people who visit or if you enjoy the hustle and bussle then enjoy.

My daughter loves this barn. She was able to feed all the farm animals. We recently discovered they sell yummy pies and absolutely had to take home some to work. It was my first time trying grilled sweet corn it is so delicious. We just had ours plain, so we were really able to taste the corn without any added condiment. We will definitely keep trying to come back.
