SLO's best kept secret. It's a beautiful place to visit and has so many different indoor and outdoor plants, and trees even. They're a great place to find succulents and native species. The plants are also surprisingly affordable. They even have fair trade and local craft jewelry and plant-related art. They also have a large variety of air plants which you should go check out if you haven't seen these beautiful and unique specimens in person. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. And if by chance they don't have what you're looking for they are more than happy to order it or call you when it comes in.

Cutest little green corner!! You'll miss it if you don't look closely. Had a wide variety of plants. Also have a ton of different air plants. Staff really knew how to take care of all of them.

An enchanting tiny secret garden in the land of SLO. Across the street from the Mission, tucked between two historic buildings. Oohh, and ahhhhhh over beautiful rare plants, air plants, Californian natives, succulents and herbs all for sale. This is a nonprofit organization, so your purchase helps other. A parking structure is about a block away. Open 10-5

Fantastic little store with really great variety. The prices can not be beat and it's a non-profit shop so you feel great spending money. My one critique would be to sharpie a name on the pots so I don't feel like I'm pestering the very kind employees.

Growing Grounds has a wide variety of extremely healthy looking plants. They carry everything from tropical plants and succulents to vegetables so there's something for everyone! They also have a great in-house potting mix that has saved some of my more sensitive plants.

It's such a cute shop with really friendly employees. Definitely worth a stop for anyone in SLO even if you're not looking for anything specific.
