I went to the Walmart store at 7:30 this morning to pick up a Tumblr and some tea before work. I didn’t expect it to be busy around this time but a few people are out and Walmart have two check out lanes open so I decided to walk to the self checkout which is typically quicker in my opinion ; However, I was informed that self checkout was only open to truck drivers and not to public customers. Additionally the lady mentioned sometimes they do have self checkout open if there were two people available to manage self check out. I understand that she is just doing her job, but this is a real inconvenience. Management should do better if the store is concerned about theft they literally have two different security companies guarding the store.

Besides all of that staff were available for assistance in the store . The store was clean and organized.

At first glance, I thought I was entering a military base. Security personnel park their cars on the sidewalk, blocking customers from passing, even though the weather was heavy rain. They deliberately park their vehicles on the sidewalks, resembling the style of Mexican security forces or Guatemalan police. Upon entering, the security staff stared at us with disdainful looks, as if trying to intimidate people with their gazes. Moreover, the branch was dirty and lacked a bakery. I deeply regret visiting this poorly managed branch.

walmart 🤓 well my earthlings followers and friends what comments can I add about this establishment? Something very important that I should make known, are some of the favorable prices that are handled especially for the current bad economy that we are living today. that is one of the good points about Walmart stores. But when we talk about customer service, or about the long lines at the cash registers and all the time we have to wait so they can charge us 🤔 uff there are earthlings and you know that very well because it is known that if you go to Walmart stores you must have free time and not be in a hurry, because we do not know how long we will be in the long lines at the cash registers. 😎 and well my followers and friends in general, this has been my report in time and space until next earthlings.

They offer an incredible selection in every aisle, making it easy to find everything I needed. I also felt secure with the presence of the big security guards standing by the door, which is a reassuring touch. The staff provided good service, and I left the store with everything I wanted. Walmart in Castro Valley is definitely a place to get my essentials.

Extra large parking lot with plenty of disabled spots. Weekends are very busy so get there early. Opens at 7:00am. High security. Two guards at the entrance, like Costco you must show your receipt when leaving. Very similar to Target but you can pay less depending on what you are purchasing. I only gave it three stars since they have reduced the cashiers and the self check has a twenty item limit.

Very clean and well organised store. There is plenty of parking and pads of shopping carts. Prices are well displayed which is a breath of fresh air compared to other big box stores. There are food choices in the store when you walk inside. Good job Walmart!
