A beautiful space with beautiful flowers! I went in and asked for a bouquet in the $15 range and they created the most gorgeous full bouquet that totaled at $15.75. I couldn't believe how many flowers I got for such a reasonable price and they did a lovely job arranging it. They also have a nice selection of gift items like incense, candles, glassware and other trinkets. Will be back soon

Emerson and team did my wedding flowers and knocked it out of the park. We gave him a Pinterest board and he went to work to make our tropical "anti-traditional" vision come to life. Our guests could not stop raving about how unique and beautiful our flowers were. 10/10 recommend! Will update this review once we get our wedding photos back.

Another disappointing experience at Ampersand florist in the Castro. This is the 3rd time getting wilting flowers from this florist & the people who work here don’t even seem to care about making customers happy. The floral design I received was lack luster including quality of their flowers and negative demeanor from staff. A male florist put together an arrangement that was not very good so went back to request a do over. Unfortunately he did not take it well & gave me a cold shoulder, even talking about me as I walked out. He tried to redo and maybe just doesn’t get floral design because flowers were squished in the vase. We already paid $85 & was going to charge another $68. I didn’t want to pay anymore especially that his attitude was bad vibes all around. Flowers are supposed to make you happy & I couldn’t bring his energy to my home. I walked out with out an arrangement unfortunately. There are other florists in the city who care about flowers & their customers. Ampersand is not it, too bad!! 🙁
The pictures added look better than in real life. They were wilting and dying when we got them. Not worth what they charge for them.

It’s absolutely jam. Incredible place so well done. Unfortunately it’s very hard to see from market Street but they are very creative. Very unique, settled, flower shop, unlike anything you seen highly recommend great service.

Ampersand is an aesthetically pleasing, calming wonderland. I’m so glad it’s so close to my house. I’ve been here a few times to browse, and have purchased two build-your-own bouquets. Both times, the kind folks working at Ampersand offered to help build a bouquet on the spot within my price range. The result was gorgeous, unique bouquets both times. They were also kind enough to allow me to take some photos, which I’ll share here! I’ll never go elsewhere for my flower/gift needs.

We’ve been ordering from Ampersand for a few years. Always a gorgeous bouquet with trending modern colors. Most bouquets are jam packed (in a great way). Highly recommend!

Extremely cute and well curated. They definitely focus on creating arrangements and, while I could go for more "self selection" and potted plants, they're really good at it. It's a great little spot with friendly people and a wonderful vibe. The candle and incense selection is great too.
