They stated they had a 20-foot trailer and we reserved it. We planned our weekend around it and travelled 3 hours (one way) to help my dad build a carport for the express purpose of buying the wood with our truck. We paid and went to hook it up. In the yard, we were told they didn’t have the trailer and they wouldn’t let us rent the 18-foot trailer because even though our truck has a 3/4 ton towing capacity it wasn’t a 3/4 ton truck. They waisted our gas and time and on top of it we’re extremely rude and not helpful.

I called sound like they were in a bad mood and hung up on me so I called back and then they didn't pick up so then I called back again they pick up and hang up on me way to lose business went with just ask rentals and Larkfield another hour of my way but way worth it

Building a garage at out cabin and rented a compactor from Action. The cabin is an hour away down a county road. The unit appeared to have many miles on it as they say but all we needed for it tot do was compact the road base in a 1200 foot area. Got it running and it worked well for about 45 minutes and then it just stopped working. Engine ran but no vibration. Called Action they said maybe the RPM is not high enough? We manually overrode the lever control on the motor and increased the RPM and no change. Returned the unit the next day very frustrated. Now we have ot rent another one and do it another weekend.

3 weeks later needed a 20' beam lift and Action is the closest and open 7 days so we tried again hoping the last issue was just bad luck. After raising the second Roof beam the top section of the 4 lift sections was jammed and locked in the upright position. Took the panel off and the pulley was all jacked up and you could tell that it had been not working before. Needed the lift for 3 days work with a crew of 6 workers and the tool we needed to rely of failed. Second failed piece of equipment from Action prompted me to write this review so no one else has the same frustration. Open 7 days sounds good when you have to do weekend project but if the equipment you rent does not work what is the point. Would never use them again and would not recommend anyone use them.

So I went here today to rent a small trailer to move some roofing for a job. The roofing weighs around 3000lbs and they told me they couldn't rent me a trailer for that because I would be towing with a chevy colorado duramax diesel. They said it didn't matter that it has a 7700lbs tow rating!!! There insurance won't allow any "mini truck" to tow anything but there smallest trailer. Worst thing was they refused to even check just said no. So if you have a midsized truck don't go here for anything.
