Good prices and good produce at this location near the Fremont hub shopping center. They have great prices on pies and cookies which include sugar free which include other sweets too.
They have great Newark location has fresh coffee with an available grinder.
There are great choices in meats, yogurts, cereals and more. When they have things on sale the prices are incredibly low.

The food is way cheaper than Safeway. The quality is good also. Self check is also available. There are no baggers available. You need to bag your own food.

Price was clearly marked with the product. Cashier and rude clerk in self check out told me I was wrong and for me to take a picture. I am a senior and was made to walk all the way to the back of the store to prove, which I did. They still didn't want to honor the price. They called the manager, who was just as rude. He said they would change the sign. After all that I wanted them for the price advertised. I told them I should have bought 10 bags for that price. But I didn't. Never will I ship there again.

I like the the low price fruits and vegetables.
At the same time, the quality can be uneven so you do need to be checking their quality. If necessary, you may have to go to some other place such as Trader Joe's for some items which is not too far away if the quality is better there. Overall good value at FoodMaxx and I do shop there a lot. Especially good value for frozen vegetables. I did some shopping on July 17th at FoodMaxx and was going to buy some ground turkey breast. Almost all of the one pound size were dated about July 17th. I didn't want to get anything that was so close to expiration. On the other hand, I did some shopping at a supermarket in Newark and that store also did have short dated ground turkey as well so it's not just FoodMaxx, it's other stores too. We have to be on the lookout to make sure that we're taking something that's not short dated.

it has always been a great place to shop but today at about 11:02pm I came in to shop and after shopping I was ready to check out but this Indian guy & Asian lady where just standing there and chatting like they are not seeing me, even when I call on the Indian guy and he respond the lady is coming the keep talking for a while be for coming to check me out. Bad customer service
