Great spot for a breakfast burrito and latte. There was live music and great outdoor space (no indoor eating). The disappointments were the baked goods. We bought a pecan pie which was not set. Had to throw it out. Scones were more like biscuits in texture and bland flavor. It is worth a stop for the prepared to order breakfast items. Photos of unset pecan pie. Center completely liquid. Rated food a three for baked goods.

I have been camping and hiking the trails around here and we rarely stop to enjoy shopping and dining while on hikes but my family and really enjoy the coffee break before the he long drive home. Great pastries and premium coffee. Thank you!

I owned a small business from 2000-2005, and having a "Good Business" Mind is a must.

That, is what you will find here at Sunflower Bakery, and the "Good Business" mind is Wendy.

That being said, this Diamond in the sky offers up some of the best dessert & more I have ever experienced, hey, my Husband bakes, and he even said this is way better than a lot of what I do and beyond!

WE, ordered our Christmas apple pie, we cannot wait to savor it as we already are hooked on the delectables offered here. Yes, we went back for more today.

Do yourself a treat, go, go now, you will not be disappointed!

Finally, a place with a great latte that isn't $10 with tip. Love to drop by The Sunflower whenever I'm in town and pick up a nice latte with a pastry. There is usually plenty of parking and after grabbing a cup, it's easy to walk down and check out the other shops. Highly recommend!

A pleasant place to have a hot coffee while watching woodpeckers and a beautiful kitty drinking water & roaming around in their backyard. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Got the famous BLT sandwich on sourdough, which tastes fine but nothing special. The lettuce was fresh though.
Also got a muffin, which was quite solid and may be better to bring on the trail.
That being said, I did enjoy the outdoor space.

Got a sourdough loaf that was oddly hard to cut (very crumbly). I had asked them if they could slice it, but they don't have a slicer on hand, which surprised me.

It was great dipped in olive oil and also great as a salami sandwich.

But I've never experienced that odd crumbliness with any other loaf of bread.

It's really good! We had the cheese danish, the breakfast burrito, and a breakfast sandwich, also a little ham on the side for my toddler. We sat outside in the cool shade under the trees and everything was wonderful! The food was so well seasoned without being over sales. Just really great! I definitely recommend!
