The restaurant at The Lodge at Dawn Ranch is a true gem. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the beautiful setting. The menu features a fantastic selection of dishes crafted with fresh, local ingredients, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The attention to detail in both the presentation and flavors was remarkable. The service was equally impressive—our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made great recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. Whether you’re staying at the lodge or just looking for an exceptional meal, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Checked it out for breakfast. Very impressed with food quality. French toast was excellent. Wife had a very generous Greek yogurt parfait loaded with fresh fruits and granola.

Never stayed here but walked the property and it’s adorable. Will definitely try this place out for lodging accommodations on next visit.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at The Lodge at Dawn Ranch. Service was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The ambiance is cute enough that you could spend the whole day reading a book or doing some work. For dinner, we were blown away by the quality of food, our server Megan, steered us so expertly. Coming from the Bay Area, we are often spoiled, but the quality of the flavors and food here were on par with better offerings from the Bay. 100% the restaurant is what would make us stay at Dawn Ranch again.

Had the best experience at their restaurant. How come they still don’t have any Michelin star!? Food was absolutely mind-blowing from its presentation to the taste pallet and unusual combinations. Service was on top as well - liked how our server presented the menu and gave us the best pairing recommendations. Loved the beautiful venue and its vibe. Must visit place for sure!!!!

Food was fantastic and so was the ambiance and beautiful atmosphere of this place. However, the service was extremely lackluster to put it nicely. We sat for about 8-10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence to even order a drink. When we saw a server walk by, we flagged her and asked if we could order at least a drink to start. We were looked at as if a complete inconvenience, and with no smile or personable welcome, finally had our order taken without being told of the specials of the day (as I had heard other servers saying to other customers). I feel quite hesitant to write a review like this, and it seems maybe perhaps it was an “off” night for the service as based on the other reviews here. It seems other people had a great experience. It just wasn’t so in this particular circumstance.

I would say, go here for the food and beautiful ambience, but don’t expect anything from the service. Also, keep in mind they charge a 3.5% kitchen appreciation fee on top of an already pricey meal. Most likely will not be returning as there are better options in the area.

We had a great experience at the restaurant for a family dinner. The service was fantastic, and they happily accommodated our party of both vegans and meat eaters. In particular, the pasta entrees were beautifully prepared and the portions were generous; we also enjoyed the selection of wine and beer. We would definitely come back again!

We went here for dinner to celebrate a birthday and it was perfection. We got seated outside surrounded by beautiful trees. The staff was very attentive, helpful and kind. The food was beautiful and delicious. Worth every penny. Definitely the best restaurant in Guerneville.

Just had the most wonderful dinner, Black Cod, Tuna Tostada and a ricotta pasta. Excellent service, setting, music... magical. Very well run establishment. Looking forward to future visits.
