Friendly staff. Came here for a snack. I had a protein shake and coffee. Grabbed some food from the salad bar as well. A bit overpriced but expected in the area. There were cute holiday decorations.

Criminally over priced. Great selection but everything you can have hand delivered for less. This place is for the rich who do t care about how much anything is

Store is smaller but newer look and is very nice
However, despite the sign saying that
No Dogs near food bar
so many small dog owners just ignore it.
When I was there, five or more dogs in the store, some carrying it and keep touching food items that you may eat.
Nothing against owning dogs but owners must be responsible and obey the city health code.
Also, store must take the law seriously and warn the dog owners who ignore it.

My family was visiting San Francisco from Vancouver, Canada after Christmas 2024 and heard about Woodlands Market known for their quality sandwiches. It was about 10-minute walk from our hotel, perfect for a quick lunch stop. I ordered a turkey/cranberry sandwich. Antonia, who served us was quite meticulous in prepping sandwich ingredients and assembling them according to customer requests. As well, she was precise and quick !

My husband ordered the substantial House Roast Beef Sandwich, starting with an extra serving of meat, along with a healthy selection of fresh ingredients, including, Havarti cheese, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, lettuce, arugula, bit of salt & pepper, and caramelized onions. He said, Antonia, did a wonderful job building his sandwich with just the perfect amount of spread and condiments.

We totally enjoyed our sizeable sandwiches; good to share or enjoy in two sittings: good bang for the buck as they say !

Very nice high-end market!
I love the flower selection and hot food bar. They even have a burrito maker! As well as hot or cold meals to go!

Our Bible Study Group ordered sandwiches from Antonia who happened to be an employee of Woodland Market situated at San Francisco (SOMA) area and the services that were rendered to us was great and highly appreciated. Everyone in our group were delighted how delicious those sandwiches. Because of this experience I'm planning to visit the place. Thanks to Antonia for ushering us a wonderful meal.

An excellent local grocery with high quality everything, but it'll cost you 😅 the hot food bar for breakfast/lunch/dinner is really good and a great price, I would highly recommend. The sushi is also bomb, especially the sashimi boxes. My only complaint is that some items are crazy expensive, like drinks, but I can get those elsewhere in bulk 🧠

Moved into the neighborhood and wanted to buy a few things real quick last night. I saw the cottage cheese in the store at a comparable price to Safeway and Whole Foods which I thought was a great deal and added it to my cart however I was charged a different and higher amount($5.49) at the time of checkout! I was surprised to see that happen and went back to the cashier to get a refund. Hoping this doesn't happen again where customers are charged more than what items are labeled for in the aisles!
