We had an absolutely wonderful experience, made even more special by the cozy atmosphere inside as the rain poured outside. Despite the venue being oversubscribed, we were fortunate to be seated in a comfortable leather chair right in the center of the room, which added to the charm of the evening.

Stacey, our host, was exceptional—knowledgeable, engaging, and offering great insights into everything we tasted. We decided to try both flights, and while we typically prefer sweeter wines, we found ourselves undecided on what to take home. Sensing our preferences, Stacey went above and beyond by offering us a taste of Marcella, a wine not even on the tasting menu. It was love at first sip, and we didn’t hesitate to purchase two bottles.

Overall, it was an outstanding experience—warm, inviting, and made even more memorable by the rain outside and Stacey’s thoughtful hospitality.

I've been a member of Wooden Valley winery for quite a few years. It's one of the most unpretentious wineries I have been to. I'm treated the same whether I'm in a button up shirt, or a worn out t-shirt. The wine is very reasonably priced and quite good. The restrooms are very accessible, clean and well designed. I like to stop at Larry's Produce (just down the road). Pick some produce for dinner and then stop at Wooden Valley for a bottle of wine.

No reservation needed when the doors open. I just walked in (by myself) but there is no one here. I was hesitant because there were no reservation spots available when I looked up the winery. But they happily accommodated me! I had the winery to myself for the first 45 mins of my visit! It was beautiful! Well manicured outdoor tasting space, friendly and welcoming staff. Enjoying my quick, last minute detour.

We showed up without a reservation and they were able to sit us immediately for a wine tasting. We had a wonderful server, the wine was great, and the property beautiful! We loved the relaxed family run winery environment and will definitely be back.

First time in California, and Wooden Valley Winery did not disappoint! The service was excellent, and Nancy was very helpful in describing each wine I tasted. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the outside seating was set up nicely. Pricing is fair, along with being cheaper than going all the way into Napa. If you're in the area, do not skip it. You will not be disappointed.

We have enjoyed spending time out at Wooden Valley winery! The staff at Wooden Valley truly care about their customers and take great care in serving and educating their clients. 🍷The wines we have enjoyed there are VERY GOOD. The atmosphere at the winery makes you feel like your family, we highly recommend becoming members as they have many perks for their members.🤗
