I've purchased my saffron threads from Vanilla Saffron for the past 3 years. The quality is consistently excellent -- strong heady aroma and beautiful color bloom. There's no filler or style (stem) in the bags. The pre-packaged ground saffron, the best choice for recipes where color/flavor are needed but the beauty of the threads is not, is also of good quality. Prices are more than reasonable for the products and the outstanding customer service. I appreciate Juan's recommendations and the recipe advice that is included with each shipment. You'll get a great product, sometimes a delightful free gift, and always learn something every time you order.

This shop and its people are fantastic! I would put 10 stars if i could. I only order my vanilla from them. Priced more than fairly. For the quality of product they deliver I would pay more than what they sell it for. You will never touch Vanilla products from the grocery stores after buying from them. Always got a receipt with a hand written Thank you note from Juan, certificate of authenticity for the vanilla origins, as well as some samples like tea bags to try.
Guys you got an amazing business and great people to run it.

I ordered Vanilla beans and Saffron from them. I received it very quickly. I have bought and used saffron from different places but this is the best saffron I got. Fantastic quality. I bought both Planifolina & Tahitian kind, bean paste and vanilla extract. The beans were fat and juicy And large (not dry like at any grocery store) . Arrived within days, came with certificate of inspection & organic certification, along with CA dept of health inspection certificate & Kosher certificate. Came with cute little measuring spoons with their name tag attached (which is great when I ask myself “where did I order those bean from?’ I am making vanilla extract for the first time. I couldn’t stop at one bottle so I’m back for more beans. This time bourbon vanilla extract. I Love to bake so I use a lot of extract. Fantastic Value!! You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this company for Vanilla Beans. Quality, long, plump beans, and you know exactly where they’re coming from. No really.
