I had rancid vegetable oil that I didn’t know how to dispose of properly, and this place collects it in the bin on the Sacramento St side of the property! Look for the bin with an oily steel lid next to the sidewalk, open the lid, and pour/dump your cooking oil/grease inside, then close the lid. “The used cooking oil dropped off at our location goes to Smart Alternative Fuels, who converts it into biodiesel, and then we sell the biodiesel at our station.” You can bring any cooking oil/grease.

My idea of a really good day is visiting Kate at bio fuel oasis. Everything is Farmy and charming. I buy my chicken food there as well as bales of hay to keep my chickens happy. Beautiful, heirloom, seedlings, art,beekeeping supplies, etc.

Visiting on a biofuel roadtrip. Very interesting little store. Showed up shortly before they closed, and the employees were really helpful, suggested some local sights. Tons of homesteady stuff too, from baby chickens to yogurt culture.

Great little operation-- I go here to get supplies for my chickens. They have a nice selection of food and supplements and other chicken necessities. I took their intro to beekeeping course as well which was fantastic. Always a great experience visiting BioFuel!
