Have this company deliver so they can take out your trees. Even after letting them know, they still didn’t do anything about it and they still didn’t move their vehicle and they still didn’t take an opportunity to take the 10 feet of parking infront of them and instead parked inside my tree about 10ft deep.

The short review is that both the sales staff (Shahan) and installation crews/techs (4 so far!) we have dealt with are incompetent, lack knowledge of the products they sell, or service, and are indifferent to customers. This has been the singular worst experience we've had with any high-end retailer. 3.5 months, $15,000, countless calls, texts, emails and scheduled installs later - we still do not have a completed kitchen of appliances.

We have recently moved from out of state, purchased a house in which we completely gutted and remodeled the kitchen. We knew exactly which appliances we wanted (GE Monogram), based on friends and family members' experiences and feedback on the internet. We searched for the nearest authorized dealer and GE Monogram website came up with Universa as the nearest dealer. We ordered the appliances, which was a bit tedious, but not awful. Everything that's happened since has been a massive headache. Damaged products, missing parts, improper installation, 4 installation attempts and it's still not complete. We ordered the appliances on May 12th, paid over $15,000 and still do not have correctly installed appliances.

I purchased kitchen appliances in May 2024. The contract was for deliver and installation of all pre-inspection. As a result of the large purpose I given a free hood for my stove. What I don’t realize was it wasn’t free. Instead they charged me over $400 for an extender for that hood. Something I didn’t want, need or ask for. Not only was that unnecessary on the part of the sales person but I’m beginning to feel it was nefarious as well. They hired Action Appliances to deliver and install my appliances. They even did a pre-inspection and measured the spaces ensure the appliances fit. At that point it was clear an extender wasn’t needed, however when they delivered and opened all the boxes including the extender before telling me the extender isn’t needed but can’t be returned because the box was opened. To make matters worse the actually hood that was ordered and measured arrived too long for my ceiling and they are telling me I have to pay an additional $250 to get my cut to fit. I now have over $650 in expenses for an extender and an original hood (neither of which can be installed) for something that was supposed to be ā€œfreeā€. I’ve reached out to the store several times over the past couple of weeks trying to have this solved. The store manager told me I could not get a refund for the extender because the box was opened by their installation company. And they told me although the original hood space was measured and the one delivered is too long they don’t cut it and I need to have my hood cut and installed out of my own pocket.

Despicable company. Almost all the appliances, they sold me were almost two years sold ans New. Don’t buy from them! As you can see simply, I’ve had to go through so much (took 6 months) for a credit of the dishwasher that was never delivered in the original order and the products don’t work correctly as new ones should. I’m still working with the credit card company they are reviewing what you sold me because you’re not following your return policy. Also you did not contact for a return at all. As I stated multiple times, please take your product. It is here for your pick up and you just ignore me, I’m happy to pay restocking and return but I’m ignored. You said I had to keep the items, call the manufacturer, and they are all broken after install.
I did not sign for delivery.
Everything was sold online.
Everything stopped working correctly immediately after I received the products. You ask them to refund your money or take them back within the 15 day policy, they will ignore you and do not take them back and then they will tell you you have to refer to the manufacturer. Also I was here and the technician did not show. I’m required to be working during the day and can’t keep taking off when your tech doesn’t show. They’ll say stainless steel appliances are special order, which they are not and on their website it says that stainless steel appliances are not special order. My dryer was white which is the standard color also. My family and I have rehabbed over 50 units and never had this kind of problem with other stores and their appliances. Sad they’re in business and I was trying to help a small business and they make others look bad. Go to Costco they stand behind their products. I’m happy to produce all emails with this communication.
It also has taken 3 attempts for you all to credit me for a dishwasher you never delivered originally and took over 10 months to get.
