The food was really good. The meat was delicious and I loved the salsa, unfortunately they were out of rice when I went so I couldn't try a bowl, but I had a street taco with chips and salsa. The red salsa was YUM!! Everything was fresh which I appreciate since so much stuff now is deep fried, pre- package crap. This place you could taste the freshness. I do think their street tacos were small for the price. It wouldn't stop me from trying it again for something else.

The bark on the brisket is perfect, the portions are generous, and the salsa roja + pork combo is insane.

We had the smoked brisket taco bowls and they were wonderful. They smoke their meats on site and the flavor of the brisket was great and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

They NAIL the flavor on the Brisket, the smoke, the char crisp, fall apart, HOWEVER they really need to consider the tortilla size. That amount of meat put on the 2” tortillas I personally think does not suffice or put half the amount of meat on. I would be more likely to buy again, if they upgraded the size of the tortilla to a regular corn tortilla size typically 4”? 5”? for $6. With the BBQ it’s even better.
The chicken. Smehhh. It looks like they tried to flavor, but absolutely 0 flavor. Very bland. I’m sure it would be better with the BBQ, but it should be able to be enjoyed without. Again with the size, for $6, I’d be more willing to pay for a regular 4”-5” corn tortilla.
The corn salad, I like what it has… but i think you guys should come up with your own recipe of a dressing for it that’s optional. The flavor is there, but if there was an optional dressing to drizzle…. KILLER. 😘🤏🏻
I mean this all with positive criticism. I love trying new things in my home town and sometimes people need a little guidance from the outside/public. Im a (small human) big foodie. Again, brisket absolutely phenomenal flavor, DONT change that, but portion size, portion size, portion size. From my perspective, I think chicken is best infused with flavor by shredding!

This place is right off the bike trail. Secret entry road behind the old Car Shop that snakes directly down to the beautiful waterfront bike trail from their parking area.

The smoked brisket was excellent and you can tell everything is made from scratch. I had a barbecue street taco, a brisket street taco, and chips and queso -- and I legit could not have eaten the brisket taco faster if I tried. Can't wait to see what else they add to the menu!

Tyler's Tacos is an awesome addition to Petoskey (and I'm not just saying that because I share first names with the owner). Grab a taco (or two or three), kick back, and enjoy the view.
