Marty was great to work with. He arranged delivery to San Diego and was able to offer great deal on Indian laurels even beating big box stores.
It has been over a year and all trees are fine and thriving. Out of 48 plants all 100% made it through the summer and are healthy.

The variety and quality of plants here at Twin Oaks is impressive. Plus, Marty, the owner, is usually to be found caring for plants, arranging pick-ups, helping customers, and all the while being very amiable and professional. We were well-informed about the bamboo and banana plant we purchased, all of which are thriving beautifully! We highly recommend this nursery!

If you are looking to add palms, cycads, bamboos or giant succulents to your yard, look no further. This is one of the finest buying experiences in North County, certainly the most gratifying. Amongst the true original Twin Oaks to which the valley is named after in San Marcos, there lies this expansive, delight of a nursery .The owner Marty and his dog Bubba is worth the trip alone. Marty is personable, quite interested in your ideas , and a master horticulturalist, who freely offers suggestions from mainstream species, a fine selection of tropicals, to the largest hardy array of exotics that I have ever seen. This is a visit far different than other nurseries or to a Home Depot. I recently picked out two cycads, a type of water efficient tropical palms not available too many places other than The Twin Oaks Nursery. It quickly became evident that they were not going to fit in my vehicle. Marty was running an errand over my way and dropped them off with a smile, but not before offering suggestions on the best locations to plant them on my property. It is to everyone's advantage to buy trees nurtured and grown in the climate that you live in, since they acclimate so quickly. Go see Marty and Bubba and enjoy the experience for yourself.

we drove all the way out there, said he had what we were looking for, at a good price, once we got there, he tried charging 200 per bamboo plant in a 5 gallon, 1k for 5 five gallon bamboo, went to evergreen nursery in del mar, they were 55 dollars each, exact same plant. it’s a guy growing plants at this house and will use the distance you traveled to leverage outrageous prices. don’t waste your time, seriously go to evergreen nursery in del mar, it will blow your mind and spare your wallet. actual professionals work there
