I’ve been taking my deer to them for about 5 years now. They always do an excellent job. Courteous and professional employees.

I just picked up my deer from T&T’s about an hour and a half ago on 11-21-23 around 11:30 AM. I’m going through the meat as I got home because I didn’t want to stand in the rain to take inventory. For the record, I brought them a very small deer so I was not expecting a lot of meat. 20 lbs is about as much meat as I would normally take from a deer that size, so proportions are about correct. However, we specifically asked for our back straps, inner tenderloins, and the rest as burger, we wanted all boneless cuts “because they ask you to specify”, and we wanted it vacuum packed. It was $90 total. We got 10 bags of burger back, our 2 back straps in their own respective bags that appear to be hacked and whacked in a hurry for a quick profit, and NO inner tenderloins. They gave us 7 bags of “venison steaks” but nothing in these bags is a tenderloin. They just made steaks out of the various parts of the deer that I would have had ground as burger. The paper they fill out for what you want them to do doesn’t show inner loins on it, so when I asked, the lady said they will be generically named “steaks.” My complaint is we were very specific with what we wanted considering it’s a very small deer, and all parties involved were very understanding of what was expected, yet no inner loins! That’s the best cut of the deer especially from one that size! It’s the only reason why I ever consider taking a deer that size. Now I tried giving the benefit of the doubt here, but it’s not looking good for them so far. Someone scooped up those inner loins. I tried calling 3 times since I’ve been home to ask what happened, and it goes right to voicemail with a mailbox that is full. I’ll change my review if they would like to justify / rectify the situation. I have my receipt from drop off to prove the proper order upon anyone’s request.

Very good customer service, all my venison was vacuum packed and labeled nicely! Pricing was reasonable as well compared to other butchers. Would definitely do business with them again in the future.

Been going since the 80s, best pricing, excellent deer processing. They could use more help during deer season but try to find anyone who wants to work anymore. They always do their best at T&T anyway. Pay to vacuum pack your deer. 👍

Go here every year won't take my deer anywhere else. I can't believe these recent reviews upset because a business is busy. If they don't have the room what are they supposed to do let your deer rot? The people saying they are returning customers and now won't go back just shows that you don't care if they succeed or fail. I've known the family for years and last year alone brought 10 deer there I got no special treatment yesterday when I brought 2 in so I brought them back home , hung them in my garage until they have room. Keep up the good work over there everyone.

I take my deer here every year to get them processed. They have good prices and do a good job. I pay extra to get them vacuum packed and it lasts so long. I recommend them to all my friends.

Best processor in town at the best price. Them being at capacity reflects this. I never saw you "returning" customers that are quick to bash them because they don't have room to store your deer on here leaving a positive review. If I was them I'd be more than happy to loose your business if at the first sign of being slightly inconvenienced you throw a fit. It's in the 20s at night 30s during the day, hanging your deer another day isn't going to hurt. Everyone there keep up the good work.

This is a great place for all you butchering needs. Especially deer. Short staffing, best prices and overwhelming amounts of deer being brought in during this season have caused them to turn some people away. To me that shows how great they are that they can fill up so fast. What great butchers to only do as much as they have space for and not let your deer rot on the ground. Shame on all the haters that feel the need to bash a great company. In this social media dictated world no one ever has the time to say something nice only report their frustration for a problem they do not have control over. Keep up the great work Shellenbarger family.
